Favorite: Samara
(Liara in DLCs. Mordin, Miranda and Kasumi are good as well. Jacob is actually fine ... but only once he runs out of dialogue lines.)

Least favorite: Thane
(Followed by Wilson - I am bored of all those guys who die in prologue. Really, the moment we first meet him, we all know he is going to die.)

As characters my favorite and least favorite are:

Favorite - Mordin: Genius; hilarious, great voice actor.
Least favorite - Jack: She's emo. I don't like emos.

If we take combat into account then I guess it depends on the mission. I often take Miranda because she has both warp and overload. I hardly ever use Tali.

She had a personality in ME1? I thought her only purpose was being a walking encyclopedia on quarians and the geth. The character did improve a lot in ME2.

 Tricky, as I'm still getting all the characters together but thus far:

Most Favourite: Zaeed  because he is Awesome.
Least Favourite (by a considerable margin): Jack 

Thane and Grunt are also in the running for most favourite as well, and I do quite like Kasumi...

ME1 favorite:

Wrex and Garrus

ME1 least favorite: Kaiden



ME2 favorite: I can't really choose lol but:

Miranda- She's really usefull and Perfect for Male Shepard

Garrus and Thane Krios- both have lot of style

Grunt- Badass Imortal!

Least favorite- Jacob

People that can stay: Legion ,Garrus and Kasumi.

People who can rot in the Protein vats: the Rest.

Favourite : Its hard to choose but Garrus I think. He has so much to say and, well, fist bump. He's my Shep's best friend. (Close runners up - Mordin, Grunt, Legion & Kasumi).  If we could get Legion earlier he might almost edge Garrus off.

Least Favourite : Miranda

Everyone else just falls in the middle there.
