So, I prefer the white one =D

I would certainly like the high heels to go, that was pushing the suspension of disbelief for me.
Otherwise I'm fine with the current outfit, I thought it meshed nicely with Miranda seeing her genetics, and by extension herself, as just a tool to be used by TIM.
Just an excuse for fanservicey costumes? Maybe. But fanservice isn't always such a terrible thing, and in this case I
thought the fanservice fit the character well once you learnt how she ticks.

This more or less sums up my opinion. Get rid of the heels, and I see nothing wrong with what she's wearing, considering her story. I wouldn't mind all of the squad mates having armor in combat situations, but I also like having truly unique-looking companions as well.Aigyl wrote...
I'll re-post what I typed in another thread. Oh, and I prefer her darker outfit.

I go with the black suit. Looks more like something an operative would wear.
this.
and all the people wanting everyone to look like the power rangers on missions again (ME1): please stop. wasn't kaiden/wrex in pink reason enough to evangelise the custom outfits NPCs now have? plus they also now all look unique and it adds to their, y'know, character in a character-driven game.
They can still look unique and wear something more suitable for missions. A character can have one unique casual outfit on the Normandy and one unique outfit that's more suitable for missions. There can be an option to change them at any time so if you want a character to wear a casual or armor like outfit at all times you can do so. And if you want them to wear a casual outfit to battle and armor on the ship you can do that too. Everything is unique. Everyone is happy. And it wouldn't be that hard to do.

I don't know why everyone keeps calling it the "black outfit" when I clearly see a dark navy blue.
But whatever.
You're preaching into the wind, brother...
I'm just assuming that everyone but us is colorblind, cause I see as much black on her altternate outfit as on her original.

Uh, Miranda IS dressed like a Power Ranger - she's wearin' freakin' skintight spandex. That's pretty much synonymous with a Power Ranger. *Facepalm* I swear to god, I'm so freakin' tired of everyone using 'unique and character-styled' as the excuse for the lack of innovation to simply create a personalized, plausible armor when all they really want is ****** and ass but don't want to admit that they're shallow and unimaginative.
how about you STFU when you know nothing about me or my psychology, and stop transposing your own justifications onto other people. sometimes "unique and character styled," as you put it, IS the justification - and guess what? - it's not wrong because they ARE better. and neither outfit looks like the pheonix power ranger get-up in ME1.

"Unique and character styled armor" here. Totally makes sense, right?

Funny. None of my characters in ME1 looked like this.

Rather, they all looked like this.
But then, that was because I equiped them all with Onyx, Guardian, Scorpion and Titan armor instead of putting them all in pink and red Phoenix and Colossus armor and then b**ching about something that was my own d*mn choice.

Miri doesnt need armor when she wears this outfit: (1) bad guys cant think straight seeing her in this outfit, (2) bad buys cant see straight after seeing her in this outfit; and (3) bad guys wouldnt want to fire at her, after seeing her in this outfit!

.... and they all looked boring and you were restricted to, what, 3 choices of armour (which apart from the colouring all looked the same anyway)? whereas everyone looks unique in the sequel - as befits most of their natures and adds to their character.

But back to the original topic, there's not much between both normal and alt costumes, but I think the 'black' (yes I know it's navy/midnight blue) one, as posted above, is more in line with operative/stealth.

Sorry, but I'm still always gonna prefer the rational, lore-friendliness of something that looks like this this over the fetish-wear Miranda wears that essentially looks like this.

There's somthing about the white outfit that just doesn't look right to me, I think it has somthing to do with her black hair, black gloves and knee high black boots and then you have all that white in the centre. I'm also not a big fan of the hexagon patern on the white uniform. If you are going to put an atractive woman into a leather body suit then it has to fit perfectly and the surface should be smooth as glass. The bumpy hexagaon patern on the white uniform is somthing of an eye sore to me.

No, they all looked like professionals going into a combat situation.
And I'm not sure how being dead from a gunshot wound that would've been easily deflected by armor adds much to anyone's character.
