such a good idea you must've stolen it. unless you didn't

This thread pops up every now and then, and I saw the idea and would love it.  So yes, the idea is not mine, thus stolen.  Still a sweet idea.

i want a model of the normandy, with some ingame content and you can keep the artbook, sound track and other stuff

A real artbook would be nice... and all the things you mentioned.

Ha. Didn't actually think you'd stolen it. I think it'd be a design classic. ME fan or not

for the normandy model they could build it in layers so that you can take of the first layer and see each floor and troops in their places around the ship, like a little joker and dr chakwas

I'd like it to include MDK2 as a minigame ;)

I would prefer an ingame weapon. A Holy Flamin' Frost-Brand Gronk-Slayin' Vorpal Hammer o' Woundin' an' Returnin' an' Shootin'-Lightnin'-Out-Yer-Bum would be great.

Great ideas start as throwaway jokes?

I'm positive that the "Geth Lamp" is a reference to the guy on the Citadel in ME2 who says you should make one(Not really spoiling imo, if it is then edit it out I guess)

Ah yeaaah. Well remembered. I guess they lend themselves to all sorts of illumination purposes. A life size Geth would make a pretty spectacular floor lamp.

Wait, that was a joke all that time ago?! Fooled me, anyways.  If ME3 Uber Edition comes with a geth head desk lamp, well, I will be happy.

I read through some of the posts, and I think a scale model of both a Reaper to the Normandy SR2 would be pretty nifty, or whatever ship Shep flies around in.

Only when I initially said it, as I figured gun replicas seemed more appealing to other people than a lamp. I, however, am in need of a lamp.

I'd forgotten my Legion dancing idea, like the dancing flower in a pot.

I'm on board with this on the proviso Legion is also dancing in a (faux) terracotta pot

For it not to be called Uber edition.

Well I would like a great dvd like the one in the ME1 CE, a great art book,.a codex book, with all the info on the ME universe, the ME3 soundtrack and a model of the Normandy. Maybe a exclusive armor and weapon set like in the ME2 CE.

A goddamn voucher that says "YOU WILL GET ALL OF THE DLC FOR FREE". Please. I don't care about anything else, I just want to not have to pay >30 dollars on top of the 129.99 AU I already have to pay just to get your damn game, like I did with ME2.

Amen brother, amen.

Given how strongly our dollar is performing, and has been performing, I fail to see how our distrubutors can justisfy charging us double the US cost.
Being a gamer in Australia is like being a kiddy fiddler put out into general population in prison. We can expect to be brutalised, hard, often, and without mercy.

That's a ridiculous price. Couple with some draconian laws...i feel for antipodean gamers.

If any software or entertainment company wants to find out why not many aussies are too concerned about piracy, this is the reason. Its not that we dont want to pay for products, we just object to being forced to overpay for them. Even when the australian dollar was stronger than the US dollar, we still had to pay 100% more from iTunes compared to our US conterparts.

Thankfully aussie consumers are waking up to the fact that were are being raped by our ditributors and retailers, to the point where one of our retail associations started a campaign to try and get our govt to implement extra taxes on low cost items imported from overseas by the consumer. More and more people will be importing directly (including me). Cutting out the middleman is good for everyone.

Refreshingly, we've been getting PC components at similar prices to the US recently. I only payed 239.00 for an i5 2500, whereas it was 209 in the US. That's basically US Price + Shipping + a tiny cut on top for the retailers, so I can totally respect that price.

does the government take a lot of flak for the censorship rulez? Or is it a non issue for most voters? I don't get how they can make those laws, don't you have civil servants?!

@zachforrest: They havent yet implemented the internet censorship regime that is being demanded by the ACL (Australian Christian Lobby), and due to their lack of majority in parliament, they wont be able to get the numbers to do so. Due to how our classification system works, the govt itself has no power over the lack of R 18+ rating for games, but our combined State Governor Generals who do, have recently undergone a shakeup, and the one sole moron who was opposing it has been removed from office.

Our govt makes laws just like any other goverment, based on how much money is bandied about by lobbyists, not by listening to the actual voters and taxpayers.

a DIE CAST model of either sr-1 or sr-2, a smallish reaper with stand, one life size miranda and a nice artbook
