Uh I guess I can understand that. Though I'm not sure about your police analogy. O.o You compare a videogame with a life and death situation. I'm pretty sure people value their life more than a videogame. Of course I would thank the people who saved my life.
I wish my wife thanked or congratulated me for going to work every day.
Is Games on Demand and the PSN service really that profitable? Do people even use the service? I can't imagine anyone doing that, the price is never justified.
lol no I didn't mean to compare making a good game to saving your life, I just meant that we're not congratulating them for just doing their job, more like congratulating them for doing their job well.
haha Im sure your wife thanks you in other ways though...
games on demand on PSN really is profitable, I have a PS3 and being able to buy and download a ton of full games without even going anywhere is GREAT. It really is a profitable service, and makes various games more accessible to people.
Wait so you buy full games on PSN? I can understand buying Indy and Arcade games because I do that too but full retail games? Isn't that a bit expensive? Most of the time you can get it somewhere else cheaper, you don't even have to look that hard.
Yeah I get full games on PSN because a lot of times they're exclusive to PSN or only downloadable through PSN and XBLA. But sometimes there will be a "full" game like ME2 on PSN and Ill buy it through the online service because for the 10 bucks more I get it right away, dont have to go anywhere and have a backup for download anytime I want.
So my choice is go to the store for standard price, go to amazon.com or something for 10 or 5 bucks less, or get it right away for standard price and be able to have unlimited downloads without ever leaving the house.
Like I said, that's not even considering the games I can ONLY get on PSN. So yeah, personally I get tons of stuff off of PSN.
