So, I was playing through the dueling ring quest on Taris and got to the point where I could fight Bendak.  I talked to the hutt, left the cantina, talked to the hutt again, said I wasn't ready to battle yet, and then saved.  I then talked to the hutt again, started the battle with Bendak, and lost.  When I tried to reload I appeared in the entrance to the cantina without any party members, light side/dark side points, levels, or anything.  I had also lost most of my items.  When I try to walk back into the cantina it says that I'm entering Upper City (can't remember if it's South or North) then goes to the loading screen.  When it finishes loading a message appears that it has stopped working, and it crashes.  If I try to load the autosave it has the same crash error when it finishes loading.  I don't have any other save files so I can't try and see if this is reproduceable, and my game's lost if I can't figure this out.  It's not such a huge deal, since I'm not very far, but it would be nice to be able to get my save back and working again.  Thank you.

I tried the game in compatibility mode, and that only gave me access to different save files from way back in the game. After putting it back in normal mode it worked fine, so this issue is no longer a problem. I'm sorry for the trouble.
