I will play as a rogue first, just as I did in Origins.

All of them. But first and foremost - mage. An evil, sadistic blood mage.

Rouge then mage then warrior

I think I'll be a mage. With a mage, you get the sword/staff thing, so you can use melee attacks AND spells

Warrior first, then rogue and finally mage.

I prefer the warrior class! I like the feel of blood splashing on my armor and the sounds of screaming darkspawn as I swing and chop off their heads.

I also really enjoy that. I want them to look me in the eyes as I end their life.

I tend to always go for rogue, first. But after that, I'll go for mage.

1. Warrior (two-handed is my favorite, but I sometimes like to make a sword/shield tank).
2. Mage (pure offense, I usually make Wynne my support mage).
3. Rogue (archer).

Mage first- Force mage and Blood mage
Warrior 2nd I'm not sure yet if I want to do two hand or sword and shield.
Rogue last. Duelist

I wanted to be a dual wielding warror, A dps machine without having to worry about backstabs and poisions and daggers and all that, but since that's out probably rogue. Then mage.

In my first playtrought my fem Hawke will be a mage. In the second, maybe a warrior.

Male Hawke. Rogue. yesh.
Will probably have a female Warrior after that and finish off with a male Mage.

Usually I'll either start off as a rogue (this way I can be a bit more flexible with my party, so I don't have to worry about bringing along someone for lock-picking) or a warrior, but I'm actually tempted to try starting out with a mage so I can use those cool spear-like staffs that they use.

I'm pretty torn, actually. My original plan was to play the self-sacrificing mage first but I want to know more about Bethany so I'll probably end up playing a super-sarcastic rogue instead.

I usually go for the spell casters, so mage on the first play and on a plus side their attacks look a lot better then in DAO; then I'll probably play both warrior or rogue at some point afterwards.

Well if we had the option to be a Dwarf, i'd start as a 2 hand axe-wielding Dwarf [Or sword, depends on stats & etc. at the moment of chosing.(even hammers)] But i'll probably go with the rogue.

Mage, i have 2 staffs ready to go from my preorder and parlathan, i want to see some kickass spells (bloodmage all the way), and i want my character to finally be an apostate (time for the templar chasing game to start again)
I also want to see how good these new sword-staffs are and if the class that happens to be the most enjoyable for me is more fun this time around.

the combat system for the mage looks awesome! I think you can do a few melee attacks with staffs too

I believe if you do that, you will be limiting the power of your specs, you won't be able to reach the pinacle of either.

Unless it sucks, all of them. But first will almost certainly be a Rogue, probably a FemHawke (though a lot depends on the VO. If I can't stand her voice I'll go male. In ME I started as a male Hawke, switched to female due to the VA.)
