I definitely plan to have at least one playthrough of each class. The only question is which one will be first :)

I usually hate mages in most games since they are squishy and boring to play on lower levels (spellswords on the other hand more than make up for that), but with the whole Amell surname and being tied to the mage warden, it sounds compelling.

It will probably be:

Male Mage- I had only one mage playthrough in Origins (male human arcane warrior/blood mage), I'd like to see how that ties in with DA2 (even though it probably won't be spectacular, it will be interesting to continue the game world from that standpoint). I'll continue male mage Hawke in that same light, very dark and occultic but probably less chaotic with an aggressive streak. Plus I want to have a brother-brother rivalry with Carver (the whole apostate thing and possibility of him going with the Templars interests me).

Female Warrior- She will be a diplomatic sword and board wielder that will have the game world of my female human noble (two hand warrior) who married Alistair. She will be a devotee of the Chantry and I'd love to see the option to become a templar (can you spell templar-apostate sister conflict with Bethany). Plus, all my sns tanks in Origins were male (and in general), would be cool to play a female variant.

Male Rogue- To be in the game world of my male dual wielding city elf rogue who romanced Zevran, became an elven bann and sent Loghain to die against the archdemon. He'll have a major sarcastic streak but ultimately will bark more than bite. He will also be a dual wielder as well. This guy will likely be my first playthrough because my city elf was my first playthrough (that whole "blind gameplay" to see what happens thing).

Also want to have characters for my dwarven commoner who sacrificed himself against the blight and my dalish archer who had Alistair take the cake for the demon, these characters will be the opposite fighting style (male two hand warrior or archer rogue, female mage). But we'll see how it goes ; )

I fully intend to play a rogue first as I did in Origins; what footage I've seen of the all new and improved rogue looks so awesome! Though I imagine I will complete a playthrough of all three classes.

Warrior first, just as I did in Origins. After that... we'll see.

I couldn't get into playing a Mage in the first game, so we'll see how that goes in the second.

I always gravitate towards the weapon-based heavy armor classes. I enjoy my characters taking the brunt of enemy assaults so everyone else can focus on doing what they do best.

Shield based warrior for my first run. We'll see how I feel about the game after that. :)

Mages suck. Two-handed warriors are the best.

I'm playing a blood mage my first playthrough.

^ Screw that. Rouges and Mages all the way. Warriors are boring.

You're doing the same thing as me!  Only in a different order.

Mighty warriors unite! And since the more interesting party members are often mages or rogues, it makes sense to fill the warrior role.

I'm going to be a Lady mage then rogue. I don't do warriors, just not my game style.

"Good" Fem!Rogue and then "Bad" Male!Mage. And then some mix of both for a Fem!Warrior. At least, that's the plan. It may be epicly derailed once I actually begin to play, though.

Lady Mage, Lady Rogue, then probably Male Warrior. . . . I just enjoy playing female characters and don't enjoy warrior class that much but I will do it just to say I gave it a try :)

Male mage first off, same as origins. Then I might try a fem rogue, before finally a 2h warrior.

I normally start off as Warriors ALWAYS, but after seeing some mage gameplay and screenshots, I'm gonna be a mage. Plus, some mage staffs have blades, so you can do melee attacks and magic!

I normally go for Rogues, but since DA2 only have ninjas I'll pass the class name this time.

Going Warrior first, and if the game sounds fun enough for another round, I'll go play a Mage.

The Warrior will be wielding two-handers (preferable axes - maces). And a sarcastic personality.

The first file I bring over will be of my mage warden and I'll play as a mage Hawke, though I plan to play all the classes a number of times.

My first character is always an idealized version of myself, with my appearance, my first name, and in the case of medieval-style games, a sword-and-shield wielding, heavy plate-wearing warrior.

Example: Jeffrey Cousland, in my avatar.  Next up is Jeffrey Hawke. B)
