Isabela-Only one that was officially announced
Merrill-Aveline seems like she is not ready to move on with her husband, besides, its practically implied that she will be a romance option based on the latest video.
Fenris-Eh, I'm just going with what everyone is saying.
Female
Fenris-Ok, every fan of Fenris is practically being begged to be a romantic option for Female Hawke and I think Bioware will give in to peer pressure
Varric-Bioware has expressed an interest for a dwarf romance option, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that.
Isabela-She has done females in the past, there is a good chance that she will be a bisexual option.

Thank you! I am hoping forever that Varric is an LI.

Doesn't mean Varic is for sure not an LI, but it doesn't bode well for it.

Varric's Voice actor is talented, and Varric, himself, is debonair, a worldly guy -- and over-confident to boot(*sees fans with apples and pies in their hands and prepares to dash away at the slightest hand raise*).
In my opinion, he does not behave like a "typical" dwarf (bearded, etc). So, I can see why either gender would desire him as a love interest. Those qualities of his surpass the height requirement that is an issue for some players.

Besides, don't know anything about the final companion. I may change my opinion if the other mage seems feasable enough as a romantic option and I highly doubt that the last one is Anders as many people believe.

Edit: But if the new companion is indeed "Anders," I would welcome him because in Awakening, there were hints here and there about his personality (which appeals to me) and I would like to explore it further.

That also doesn't mean that Gaider is a control freak. If someone wanted to write in a romance for one of the characters, since Hawke is a conglomerate of everyone's work, I doubt he'd freak out and start screaming "F--- NO! IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY, B!TCHES!"

As for the females, definitely Isabela for male and female Hawkes, probably Merrill for the males exclusively. Aveline did just lose her husband, after all, romancing her might be seen as a little tacky especially if Hawke chooses to kill him himself. Although, like Fenris, that could be considered a "challenge" as well. Personally I think that for a male Hawke, romancing Aveline or Fenris would be more rewarding than romancing Merrill (or Isabela, for that matter).

Isabela
Merrill (the only time she appears in the video is when discussing the girlnextdoor romance... I think it's not a coincidence)
Fenris
"Anders" who may or may not be Anders:p
I don't have anything against Varric and Aveline it's just not all companions are LIs and I find them to be the least likely based on info so far.

The six party members featured in the book that's shown in the latest diary aren't the only companions. They're the main suspects in Cassandra's hunt for information about Hawke. That, in my opinion, casts all six of them in a potentially-romanceable light.Tinxa wrote...

For man hawke, would love cassandra but I know that isn't going to happen so will be Isabella.
Would love to have some confirmation prerelease even if its from the lovely people of America who post on here! Damn you bioware for not doing a world wide release at the same time lol

You don't really think a writer can decide whether his character is a LI? They don't have a company hierarchy just because the titles sound good.

They're the only ones we know about. Devs said not all characters revealed are romances... so all six of them can't be romances.

Not for that, certainly.
Normally I just glare and arch one eyebrow. I may or may not also stroke an evil-looking lap cat.

teagan and cullen were very very popular so i'm wondering if there won't be something like a mini easter egg romance with normal npcs or if, at the very least, females get the same tongue action/fan service that guys get.
