And don't forget that depending on your class, Carver or Bethany will die. I'm feeling for you, buddy.

damn i just hope we get the special armor from mama hawke quest (like finding your fathers chest or something)
That's my hope as well...is that you get the BEST armor and weapons...for whatever class you are through those quests... although i have said before that depending on what's being sold at the emporium...the 'best' or 'epic' gear in this game is gonna be very subjective...considering how that place is supposed to upgrade as you advance through plot...
if it is i know it wont be cheap but it would be awesome especially if it level up with you like the fadeshear

Which one is best for you would be determined by your build, not by your class.raziel3080 wrote...

Some rogues might want heavy armour, for example.

And con based archers would prefer con based equipment, not a dex based one, etc etc.
Edit: Also, OP is assuming that there's only one model of armor to mages and warriors. It's totally possible that you will have to use mainly robes in your mage playthrough. Of course, If you want to try the two classes so bad, make two playthroughs.

Which is why it's prolly best to be a warrior or something becouse I can't take hawke serious trying to be badass, while wearing velvet dresses

I wonder... Sofar everything is showing that they are your first. Hawke atleast have them on in the menu when you decide class.mr_luga wrote...
I'm guessing close to the end quest.

That's why I made the comment on that sorta thing being VERY subjective...going by build, class, and whatever particular stats you are pumping for your character type...which I would also assume and hope the emporium takes into account...

yea..does anybody even know what exactly the emporium sells?
Nope, gonna have to wait til the game and released and you downloaded it to find out...the way it' explained is...they have rare magicks, items, and gear for sale...which automatically upgrades as you advance through plot of the story. The only problem i have with a place like that...is that it opens up the whole 'metagaming' can of worms...

I'm assuming: tomes, weapons, armors, etc. Quality things, but all expensive. We'll probably find the best sword/staff/bow/wtv there.

I generally always play a warrior on a first playthrough of an RPG. I like to charge right into the combat and be the centre of focus since it allows for a more gentle learning curve which means game difficulty can be put up
I'm the same way, though being a mage in DA2 seems the "right" way to go. They're showing off mage stuff so much
