Actually you can't have arcane warrior cause only the warden knows how to train mages to become one remeber the crystal was the last arcane warrior so storywise it makes alot of sense.
storywise this does make sense. the warden is one of few I bet that know about arcane warrior spec. but it obviously has more to do with gameplay design than anything else.

yes they would do it to for but its okay i love the arcane warrior either its coming back it was the best mage specialization that gave the power of a warrior can any other class learn a skill to become like rogue mage or something it be back it just did not make no for it to be in the story also if learns arcane warrior and show the mages it then the templars are in deep **** sence they be fighting a mage with skills and power of a warrior i wander if they be able to cancel that magic sence ts inward in there body when they use it to icrease strength just trust me it be back by dlc or expansion but before dragon age 3

If they did learn it" There is no if. They knew the spells.
" they are dead"
Yes but they learned it which means they got the info from somebody else and those people may still be alive and it stands to reason they passed their knowledge onto others. The skill may be rare, but that doesn't mean the Warden is the only person who possesses those abilities.
Not exactly useless because you are already an Arcane Warrior if you look at the mage skill tree u see arcane magic which only means that instead of learning it later on like in DAO its intergrated into the class

Can you use MAGIC instead of POWER to wear armor and use weapons ? Because that's the point of being Arcane Warrior.
Looks like you confused Arcane Warrior with Arcane magic spells tree - two different things.

I kind of wish they'd bring back the Arcane Warrior, though. It'd be so awesome.

The one that drops Spellweaver during Ashes quest.. (human i belive)
And a second in the Orzammar - in the arena - if u do the "pit fights" - this one is an elf..
+ the warden - thow, one could argue that if u tought some of youre companions - then, they in turn might spread it further.. but, from story point of view, the 2 NPC AW doesnt make sense, unless the AW existed elsewere aswell. Remember the spirit that teaches the player, has been "offline" for some 100+++ years.. there might been others that escaped the battle back then, and they in turn tought others.. so - overall there is arguments for it can go either way.

One might guess that Arcane Warrior is such an obvious invention that civilizations would eventually come up with that skill set and variations on it. One might even guess that it's common in other eras and bygone (or far away) cultures that magery and weapon training plus personal accentuation of martial ability through magic. Thedas may very well be an exception in many regards, not only exceptional due to their craftwork.
