I don't feel like reading so I'm going to post what I know
1. I was a cancer then, and I still am now July 20th
2. Your only effected if you were born after 2009. I don't think anyone posting was so your still whatever sign you were born with.
3. The new sign is bogus. Nothing to worry about.

Certainly. Pluto and other 3 planets after it [Haumea, Makemake, Eris] are PLANETS not asteroids.thegreateski wrote...

Ok, to be honest, I never knew the original source of the whole "Astrology shift" story, and I don't get where the whole B.S. "only if you're born after 2009" thing comes from, but the point is there's NOTHING to worry about. Nothing changes.
This is the real story: Astrology, much like the Catholic Church in miedeval times, had a major split. Much like there was Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox, so there are two zodiacs:
1. the Western, or "Tropical," zodiac, which is what we base astrology on primarily
2. the Eastern zodiac, based on the Babylonian calender/start chart/whatever. This is what's causing the whole confusion, as this zodiac runs on a different calender from us.
Honestly how this affects you depends on whether you choose to adhere to the more widely-used zodiac or this relatively unknown one which was only recently "rediscovered". The url below goes to a website which explains everything I said in greater detail.

There... so can we all go back to not being paranoid about sign changes which aren't even real?

while doing research on the whole controversy, I found another article which explains things in a different way, but comes to the same conclusion:

I refuse to be a Pisces, I am a Aries. Pluto will always be a planet and I will always be an Aries. This is a load of bullsh*t! Not even science can change what I am..never! So, this isn't real...I'm still a godd*mn Aries! *loads shotgun* So nobody is going to say any different.
