And is that a PS1 game left of your controller?

Did you mean the controller?  That is just a white Dual Shock 3 a friend of mine got over seas.  They ended up realeasing the white ones in the US, too actually.

No, you already answered my question, it was ME2 and the DLC code that comes with it. I thought that looked like the boxart of Crash Bandicoot. O.o

But ... but I thought they said the Collectors Edition DLC is going to be only available with the Collectors Edition. :lol:

Not for the PS3 players I guess. I don't think they get a Collector's Edition.

Well, here is another warning for you guys, I guess I am the guinea pig for all this. I decided to download the Terminus Pack because it was free, and after doing so the N7 Complete Arsenal Bundle disappeared from the menu so I cannot download all the items at a discount anymore. I now will have to buy them all separately if I want them all. I'll end up spending $9.95 now instead of the $7.99 bundle price. Keep that in mind if you guys want to save a couple bucks, not the end of the world or anything, but still just good to know.

I'd like to know what the choices are as well. Also: does playing through the comic give any sort of gameplay bonus, like free paragon/renegade points based on what you chose?

No extra points from the comic, but when I started on default it made some assumptions for choices that were kind of a bummer, so the comic is important to shape your story. I was hoping in the conversation with Jacob and Miranda that you'd have some control over that stuff but they only ask about your background and how hard of a decision it was to leave a crew member behind (you don't get to choose, it is assumed as one specific person was left behind).

In the comic, the choices are only major ones, and it is kind of a bummer that things like the fan from the Citidel and the female doctor working at the cloning factory are not present. I'd like to know how that stuff is going to play out in ME2, let alone ME3. I may just play through ME3 on 360 just to see the little details like that played out if possible.

Also, if you want a PM about the comic choices, PM me first so I can just replay directly and make sure I get everyone.

Quote from Chris Priestly on the US playstation blog;

"The demo was, for certification and testing reasons, about a 2 month
older build than the final “what you will play when you get it home”
version. I think you’ll see that the game is noticeably better at
launch. =)"

360 already has them just not the terminus or the recon dlc. we can get the other packs i.e firepower, equalizer,aegis and  the appearence{ hell some of them was free thru the c network,}

i wondering what the new dlc  will be when they bring down the c network.

This is confirmed?

In any case if Bioware were smart about this i'm hoping although there is 6 options (32 combinations). I would hope that this means many many more changes in the me1 save game it creates.

Eg. if you let council die in comic (renegade) it sets the play through to having been renegade towards conrad verner and to the female doctor in the clone facility. Though for somebody who hasn't played Mass Effect before (which would be most players). I can see how this wouldn't make much sense because when you bump into them in ME2 they would be referring to events that just did not happen.

There's a FemShep comic playthrough on YouTube. It's about 14 minutes long and covers the main story elements. I can't imagine how confusing it'd be for newbies, though. "WTF is a mass relay?"

How is the frame rate in comparison to the demo? and then to the 360 build? Also did they fix the stutter that occurs during the cinematics?

According to this article, the retail build doesn't have any screen tearing;

http://www.gameblurb...58&preview=true

"Well, that time has come and the launch is here. So how much has
changed from the 2 month old build to the final. In terms of the demo
segments…not much. From our images below you will see slight
adjustments to the lighting in some scenes as well as a few sharper
normal maps.  But something that appears to be absent in the final
build is…screen tearing. From what we played the final builds
performance appears to be pretty solid. While the demo ran with vsync
disabled, we won’t know if the final build is locked until a full frame
rate analysis is done from one of the other comparison sites. But one
thing is for sure, there isn’t a vsync option in any of the graphics
menus."

EA really messed up not putting the content on the disc. Fortunately we now have internet but where we previously lived there was no internet available. I would have been furious then. I am just mad right now because we picked up our preorder at the midnight launch and cannot go through the interactive comic to set the stage for the game. It is 1/18/2011, launch day and I can't play the game as intended!

It doesn't have a bundle of everything.  Hence, my specifically including the, you know, bundle and not the individual parts of it.

I bought the game yesterday evening (Monday) and I've been trying off and on to ge the code to work. So your saying that I won't be able to use it til Tuesday afternoon? That sucks. I was hoping the interactive comic was gonna be on the disc. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait.

They could have at least put the comic on the disc.
