I am having a problem with the Bonus Talents part of character generation...
Having completed my first playthrough under the default Shepherd, i now want to start secondary playthroughs to try alternate options (renegade, 100%, different squad member achievements, different classes etc)
I go into the start new game -> new character menu, and do all the gender/history/psych/class selection stuff, but then when I go onto the next screen I only get the the option to add bonus talent 'shotguns' to my character - even though i have all of the weapon achievements...
I know that the pistol achievement does not add as a bonus talent as it is available either as weapon skill or class skill (for sentinel) to all classes - but surely assault rifle or sniper rifle should be available depending on the class i choose. I have tried all classes, and every one of them only offers me shotgun apart from soldier and vanguard which just go straight to the next screen , presumably because they already have shotgun and therefore it can't be added.
I am playing the game on the xbox 360. My first playthrough worked fine, and at no point did i use a glitch or cheat to alter the character. All the achievements are recorded on my xbl account fine with the dates they were unlocked.
Do you have any idea why this is happening - and what can i do to fix it?
