I actually know someone who named his daughter after a FF7 character (used the Japanese spelling). When he told her he showed her a picture on his computer of the character. It went like this...iEthanol wrote...
...but make sure you don't tell the kid she's named after a video game character. Somehow I have a feeling that wont turn out too well.
Him: So this is what she looks like.
Her: Oh...okay. That's cool. ~short pause~ I'm going to go outside and play now. Jennifer's coming over.
Him: Okay! Have fun!
She's not a gamer herself but she didn't seem to care one way or the other according to him. Of course, if she had been named Flemeth or something like that, it might have ended differently....
Congrats to the OP.

As long as you don't name your child Optimus Prime...or something else that's so stragne it will cause traumas to your kid afterwards...

haha that's really odd, I was just about to joke about naming a kid Optimus Prime.

'Cause that's only six months of cooking. And that is if you got pregnant immediately.

Ysera on the other hand is just... I feel bad for the girl. Her name's going to be mispronounced forever. And I know what that's like and my name is at least more "regular".

How can you mispronounce Leliana? It's pronounced exactly how you see read it.

Well, any name is better than Sarah-McCain Palin 2008 as a middle name. Ah... I remember watching that on the news.
Oh God. That's not real right? I mean regardless of your political inclination we can all agree that's a terrible idea, they included a date for christ sake.
