Definitely.
PS : I fail to see how one could conceivably romance someone as headache/facepalm inducing as Miranda, but to each their own I guess.

i hate ashley/kaiden, i hope that we can kill the remaining one in me3,
miranda ftw
You dont ''kill'' any of them, they sacrifce themselves. You must live a sad existence if you wish a character dead becuase you dont like them, do you have a list of people who wronged you or something in real life? And you plan ways you're gonna kill them in your parents basment?
Anyway, OP, it's your choice. If you like both, you can always do two saves.

No what? Ashley is hot!
I've never understood how every single girl in video games gets declared "hot," because Ashley isn't.
She wears standard military clothes, her hair is always pulled back, she's jealous, rude, and a space racist. All she does is talk about how tough her family is, and then quote poetry. I don't see anything appealing at all here.

She wears uniform, yet she still looks great (she will look amazing out of uniform) she values family, and some people find a girl who can quote poetry attractive, it show's inteligence. Yeah she gets jealous, most people do, even Miranda does of Shep! I dont see how she is rude. Btw, she aint racist, her writer even confirmed it so...

She's just a completely average person with a terrible attitude and a dull personality to me.

i could care less if she didn't show up in me3, or if she died.

How does a writer "confirm" it when the actual game contradicts it? Just her attitude towards Wrex, and shooting him like 4 ****ing times, her ****iness towards Liara, and generally whining about and blaming aliens as often as possible. Sounds rather "racist" to me. Exchange Krogan, Asari, or Turian with any race on Earth, then put that into Ash's dialogue, and you'll get some very racist-sounding dialogue, I don't care if the writer tries to deny it. Only it's not just a race, it's an entire SPECIES Ashley condemns.
She's just a completely average person with a terrible attitude and a dull personality to me.
Disagreeing with Chris L'Etoile on how he wrote Ash is like saying Thane ain't got a illness
From Chris L'Etoile:
''I find it interesting that so many people have stereotyped her as "the racist." At a couple of points she blasts the Terra Firma party as being "bigots," and she openly admires the power of the Destiny Ascension in the Citadel approach cutscene - not quite what you'd expect from a xenophobe.
In her first conversation she spells out her thinking pretty explicitly (the bear and dog metaphor), and it's nothing more than a short paraphrase of the most memorable passage in Charles Pelligrino and George Zebrowski's novel "The Killing Star":
When we put our heads together and tried to list everything we could say with certainty about other civilizations, without having actually met them, all that we knew boiled down to three simple laws of alien behavior:
1. THEIR SURVIVAL WILL BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SURVIVAL.
If an alien species has to choose between them and us, they won't choose us. It is difficult to imagine a contrary case; species don't survive by being self-sacrificing.
2. WIMPS DON'T BECOME TOP DOGS.
No species makes it to the top by being passive. The species in charge of any given planet will be highly intelligent, alert, aggressive, and ruthless when necessary.
3. THEY WILL ASSUME THAT THE FIRST TWO LAWS APPLY TO US.
And it's hard to dispute this. At the least, you could say the krogan live by these rules. It's certainly a more suspicious and pessimistic point of view than most of us are comfortable with. But is it racism, or realism?
Anyway. I fully expected some people write her off as a bigot. What surprises me is that no one's pointed out that her position does have some sense. Evidently, I did something very wrong here.
To answer a question from... I don't know, tens of pages ago, if you romance her and have persuade, you can convince her to be a bit less extreme in her opinions''
There you have it.
She is fine with Wrex on missions, elevator talks and on the Normandy, there is just one conversation with Shepard when Wrex first comes aboard, the Normandy is a state of the art ship, thats natural for her to be suspicious. You know you can charm Wrex so she dosen't shoot him right? Or you can shoot Wrex yourself. Ash is just watching Shepard back, Wrex is a krogan warlord pointing a gun at her commanding officer, and Shepard cant carm him down, she was doing her job, she would be a crappy solder if she didn't shoot him and let Shepard get shot.
She is just jealous of Liara. Liara is a attractive women who has interests in Shepard, it's just jealousy, she does tell Shep he should check on her when her mother dies, showing she does care a bit about her.

Thats pretty selfish of you, even if you hate her there are plenty of people who do like her and want her in ME3. If you dont like her leave her behind on Virmire. I dislike some characters but I want them all in ME3 becuase they all have fans and it aint fair if one group of fans is left out.

That would only make Ashley inconsistent. When Shepard is tired from the mind-meld, what does Ashley say? THAT DAMNED ASARI. Not "that bastard," or "that ****." She uses asari in a derogatory sentence, emphasizing the race as if it's a factor here.
Even if you want to say she isn't "racist," she is biased because of her own experiences and emotion and not because of a purely logical standpoint as that post says. And how does the logic make it any better? That just turns her into a robot, calculating the most efficient way to gain power regardless of other species. I don't want to be cheesy, but wanting the best for your own people regardless of other groups does not excuse all of your flaws.

For what it's worth, NO, Ashley is NOT RACIST.
Also, I would take Ashley over Miranda any day of the week/month/year. But still, that's just my choice. Pick whichever one you like more, it's your choice afterall, no one elses. Ashley is the one I pick but she's 'my' pick, not the 'right' pick.
This following sentance is going to sound cliche'd and terrible but still:
"Follow your heart."
EDIT: And sigh, I could not resist. The wall of text demanded to be set loose.

2. I don't think Ashley or Miranda are types that will agree on threesome. Or will accept Shepard if he had own fun with another woman... and I don't even want to imagine what would happen if it would be Jack who will hear about threesome. My theory - ME1 LI will just leave.
3. really, why not a multiple saves or chars?

Uh, it kind of is. Asari are the only ones who can mind meld.
