The great thing about multiple playthroughs is that you can have a game with Ashley as an LI...and a game with Miranda as an LI (and not having romanced anyone in ME1).

Well that's strange then, Miranda is the one who works for a pro-human organisation, and Ash hates Cerberus becuase they're a pro-human organisation . Ash isn't racist, she is just a complex character, who is apparently too realistic and complex for some idiots.

Choose who you want OP, does it matter? Do multiple saves if you like both. This topic needs to be locked, there's more trolls here than can fit under a bridge.

Also, you say you got back together with Ashley in ME2 - how exactly? I've never romanced Ashley so I don't know how the Horizon cutscene plays out if you did, but I was under the impression she rejects you based on your Cerberus ties regardless of whether or not you romanced her in ME1...

While I find them both to be well-written and interesting characters, I have to admit I like Miranda more. Personality-wise, I must add; I am not very interested in her body, but her sexuality doesn't irk me either.

Miranda's romance felt rushed. Ashley's romance went at a great pace, and there was more conversations with Ash than Miranda, actually when I think about it, I think Ashley had twice as many conversations.

Yes, the grandaughter of a disgraced general fighting to restore honor to her family name. A woman who flew a dozen light years away to walk her little sister to school A woman who has a concern with non-alliance civilians taking a tour of the most advanced warship in the galaxy. A woman who reads poetry by Alfred Tennyson and believes in god......

Is far less likable let alone believable than a homunculus designed by her perverted father to be a perfect woman. Who is a prominent figure in a terrorist organization dedicated to putting humanity above aliens. A person who is ruthless and manipulative.

Sure she's hot, but the camera angles, tight leather cat-suits, and constant showing off of her makes me wonder. Is she really that desperate?

Ashley is an amazing woman, so the haters can step down. I played Mass effect 2 first and found that Miranda was an amazing love intrest and felt that one I played Me1 I'd find no one who could stand up to her. Then I happened to stumble upon Gunnery Cheif Ashley Madeline Williams a strong, independant, and intelligent Woman. she cares about her family, the Alliane and Shepard and I had to makea playthrough where I went out of my way to pick Kidan on Virmire beause Ashley's so awesome. to answer the question in the OP I'd say import your ME2 charater twice so you can pick Ashley in one and Miranda in the other.

Here's the thing. You may not get either of them. One of the load screen messages said decisions you make in Mass Effect 2 could have dire consquences in Mass Effect 3. Perhaps of one those is the relationships falling apart because you cheated.

Or better yet they get ina  fight and kill each other...or you have to choose which one to save leaving the other to die alone sorta like your choice on who you wanted at least make a difference.

Miranda has a man jaw , Tali has achne , Samara has demon babies, and jack...well thats a different save slot.

I still hope you get to marry your LI from the first one and then gofight...would be awesome cheesy but awesome.

It comes down to preference. In my current playthough, I am staying loyal to Ashley. For once.
I chose Miranda because I like my women strong, independent, and not total jerks to you after you come back from the dead.

Plus Yvonne Strahovski is drop-dead gorgeous and this is the closest I will ever get to romancing her.

Ashley all the way. She's such an attractive and grounded person, easily the deepest character in the ME universe.

Miranda doesn't look real, doesn't feel real.

Ash, hands down.
I actually liked Miranda when I first played ME2 but as the game went on she really started to annoy the crap out of me. The ass shots were the worst, and the worst part about that was....her ass just looks so wierd. So that was a major turn off. She's not a bad character or anything, just much less interesting the most of the others. The fact that Bioware seemed to go out of their way to tell you she has "dat ass" and that she's soooo perfect really didn't get her any points either.

Ash is a more believable character imo. She kicks ass, and looks great doing it. Plus she knows poetry, now that's sexy.

Haters gonna hate however.
