We have already seen some info on the mage- and on the rogue-specializations ... but nothing on the warrior, as far as I know.

At least one thing that would really soothe my nerves would be any info if there will be some kind of magical warrior specialization ... spirit warrior, or arcane warrior (vastly different from the one in DA:O) or something entirely new.

Please, a simple yes or no would suffice

Champion was great for tanking.

What I'd like is specializations that fit either the sword and board or the two-hander route.

The rogue specs look to favor melee again.

I've played as a 2-Hander warrior and an archer rogue so far. The abilities are much more amenable to mixing and matching than they were in Origins.  There's usually one specific tree for a specific weapon style -- Sword and board, 2 Handers, Archery, Daggers, and then just about all the other trees have abilities and bonuses that can be used no matter what weapon style you've chosen.

One of the devs hinted about the specializations in another thread, som time ago.
Some guy guessed what 6 specializations we would get and a dev said how manny of them was right but not wich.
As i remember it was a good guess. But I can't remember what thread it was.

If I remember correctly, someone in that thread got it exactly right, but was quickly shouted down.

Edit: It may have been in a different thread. I remember thinking 'oh crap', but then after the responses it was 'whew'.

Keep in mind that one of the goals was to try to have the specializations affect how you play your character. So you gain something, but must adapt in return.

One of the more interesting ones from DA:O, in my opinion anyway, was Blood Frenzy. The idea that you had to pay attention to your health and deliberately keep it down to gain the most benefit from your spec. It was supposed to be a high risk/high reward type of situation.

Heh, of course I'm not confirming a Reaver-like spec or anything like that, and I'm not saying that the implementation of Blood Frenzy in DA:O was good enough (even though I think I was the one who implemented it, dammit), but it can be considered a good case example of how we approached specs in DA2, their effect on player behaviour and choices, and allowed me to illustrate my love of run-on sentences.

I think most people agree that templar is very likely.

Also accordin what was said above either Champ, Guard or Zerk must be in.

I think Champion or Guardian since they are defensive spec.

Then for the last spot we would have open Spirit Warrior and Reaver.

We need another clue.

Whoever said we need a defensive spec and an offensive spec?

Why not a bow specialization to rogue? Again?
then why will I create a archer?

Cut Duelist, it is not necessary. Assassin and Shadow is enough.

Please bard and archer for rogues.

All Rogue specs work whether you dual wield or use a bow. The only talents you can't use as an archer are in the Dual Weapon tree.
