Same with Spirit Warrior (possessed by a spirit) and Arcande Warrior (Really old really dead Elven Order).

The rougue ones were already confirmed: Assassin, Duelist and Shadow

I'm predicting that the warrior will have: Champion, Guardian and Berserker

Mages will probably have Blood Mage, Spirit Healer and Battlemage

in NO particular order:

no, no, no, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes

ok Rogue all rogue's specialties are confirmed so that's 3 yesses......we are left with 2 yes and 3 noes

Blood Mage was confirmed as well

so that leaves us with 1 yes and three noes for

Battle Mage, Spirit Healer, Guardian, Champion and Berserker.

so even if that ONE yes was for the  warrior class (any of them) we still have 2 which were not mentioned by this guy

come ooooon spirit healer

Spirit Healer is already  confirmed by screenshots from the Mage Level system.

Crimzon, the way you and other members here are working, you'd think you are about this to finding the cure for the Blight or equality for elves...

Keep in mind that one of the goals was to try to have the specializations affect how you play your character. So you gain something, but must adapt in return.

One of the more interesting ones from DA:O, in my opinion anyway, was Blood Frenzy. The idea that you had to pay attention to your health and deliberately keep it down to gain the most benefit from your spec. It was supposed to be a high risk/high reward type of situation.

Heh, of course I'm not confirming a Reaver-like spec or anything like that, and I'm not saying that the implementation of Blood Frenzy in DA:O was good enough (even though I think I was the one who implemented it, dammit), but it can be considered a good case example of how we approached specs in DA2, their effect on player behaviour and choices, and allowed me to illustrate my love of run-on sentences.

Peter, while you are here, can we have some information on how we obtain specs? Thanks! Same as Origins or no?

Actually you didn't have to watch it to make sure it was down. After like two hits you were halfway dead because it turned you into the epitome of a glass cannon so it would always be down. It would be more appropriate to say you had to make sure you weren't about to die.

So you're saying every warrior spec has an advantage and a disadvantage. Like +offensive/-defensive, balanced and -offensive/+defensive?

Don't exactly remember my old guess but I think it was Guardian/Spirit Warior/Berzerker or something along that.

champion = champion of kirkwall (makes sense eh)

templar = you have blood mage might aswell have the templar ability to combat it and come on the story is about templar and mages

spirit warrior = you come from a family of mages and the whole fade thing ( 80% sure it will be in):alien:

Well if you assume the magic thing would be important then it would be reaver, templar, spirit warrior. Because they were the magic-related warrior specs.

But I think generic tank spec must be in, that's guardian.

Ok must be guardian, spirit warrior, templar then.

My guess for Warrior

Reaver-A high risk, high reward offensive specialization

Templar-An anti-magic specialization with some emphasis on defense

Guardian-they may tweak it to make it more supportive.

My guess is Berserker will become kind of a mix of the Origins one with Reaver to become a throw caution to the wind and destroy stuff DPS option. Templar will be the tankish option. And Spirit Warrior because your Hawke blood demands you have pseudo magic powers.

I think most people agree that templar is very likely.

Also accordin what was said above either Champ, Guard or Zerk must be in.

I think Champion or Guardian since they are defensive spec.

Then for the last spot we would have open Spirit Warrior and Reaver.

We need another clue.

I could agree on that but I'd rather have a tendency to guard than champ. champ is kinda offinsive too, while guard is pure defense.

You never know, they could have changed Champion talents.

Well true, they could have changed alot. Or merged. It is just the naming, Basic idea is that Champ/Guard is going to be the generic defensive tank.

So it's Templar Spirit Warrior Champion (or evtl. Guardian). What is there left to hide?

I think theyre Champion, spirit warrior and templar cause the guy who said it didnt get any attention at all.

Plus in the thread i found out that out of these three Gaurdian,Champion,Beserker <--------1 of them is definetly included

Pretty much my reasoning too, also in the thread there were not really many other suggestions.
