Jack should like whatever her character would want to look like and since BW created her I trust that they would know what's best for the coming storyline in ME3 and whatever changes she may encounter. Same goes for all the other team members.

In mass effect she should change on something more then hairstyle.

I think she should change if you made her your LI or not.

IF you made her your LI I think she should look very different since she feels like someone actually cares about her now...maybe she let her hair grow and covered up her "Past," (Tats) with clothes..as well as a happier disposition considering the circumstances.

IF you didnt then I say she goes down a darker road...more tats, more scars.

As a Jack fan I do not want this at all.
I like her how she is.
Her hair, her tattoos and her attitude.
To change her character that much by having her feel the need to hide her tattoos and suddenly grow her hair so she can be 'normal' would be absolute bull**** and not what I'd want at all.

The only change I'd have is that she'd wear armour when running around in fire fights/on deadly planets, and that'd happen regardless of whether you romanced her.

Jack in ME3? Yes. With armor in combat? Yes. With a totally revamped character design to make her more universally sexually appealing, completely stomping on what made her Jack in the first place? OH HELL NO.

Yeah.  She's not a Barbie Doll.  I could see some functional armor for use in combat, but we don't need her to be toned down to more closely fit a stereotypical view of feminine beauty.

Im a jack fan myself. but i wouldnt mind a little hair. doesnt have to be like miranda's, but somethin short could work, and still not abandon her look. I dont need that stereotypical image of beauty, but her skinny neck and alien head gets old at times, lol. and for god sakes!! lose that stupid visor...what were they thinking?!

Maybe if you romanced her, she could have hair, but if not then she shouldn't.

Well if you check out this concept art from ME2 (guessing its official, there is Bioware copyright on the images) it shows potential designs for Jack. If they were going to change her appearance it would still be in a punk vain.

I can see why from a character development view this could work, but it would be akin to Miranda shaving her head because she doesn't have to be the perfect woman anymore for the people that matter in her life.

That's an apples vs. dinosaurs comparison there. Miranda wouldn't shave her hair because she wouldn't have a real reason to do so. Having a better sense of self can lead to a Haircut of Extreme Significance, but not of the type you describe. Jack growing out her hair would be a sign of her finally leaving at least some of her past behind, which is what romancing her in ME2 is all about.

The shaved hair is fine with me.

However, I would really, really like her to wear some clothing. Actual armor would be excellent.

Her default (non loyal outfit) in ME2 is absolutely ridiculous. It's gotten to the point that I'm embarrassed to have someone see me playing ME2 with jack as a squadmate.

Not really: firstly, Jack doesn't have a reason to change her hair either. The entire point behind her romance is Shepard accepts her, like he does with Miranda's path, for what she is. Furthermore, Jack clings to her past and even assimilates it, as evident by the tattooes which mostly (by her own admission) memorials of past events.

So to recap:
>Jack clearly makes the past physically part of her
>The haircut is part of her past

As I said before, Jack suddenly deciding to grow her hair long, while you can see why she'd do it, is like Miranda deciding to shave her head. Again, you can see why she'd do it, but it would be out of character. You yourself point out Miranda wouldn't have a real reason to shave her head; Jack doesn't have a real reason to grow her hair out. Repeating myself again: the entire point to her romance is Shepard accepting her for who and what she is.

Jack has shaven hair because Jack likes shaven hair. There. Now leave the girl alone and stop projecting your discomforts onto her.

Jack's initial concept art had her with both hair and clothes before the art director turned them down because they didn't work with her personality.

They tried it, it didn't work, get over it.

i'd like her to have a unique set of hair.. being a bald chick with sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many tatoos makes her unpopular with me.. but she has the most beautifull face in mass effect 1/2 i'd also like to see some nice suit for her.. like the suit liara uses in lairof the shadow broker

I don't like jacks personality, despite sympathising with the characters past. However I think her appearance is something that shouldn't be changed.

Except maybe putting a tank top on occasionally, shesh.

I like Jack the way she is.

According to the article about ME3 in Game informer the game starts a couple of months after the suicide mission so that doesn't give Jack much time to grow long hair. If Jack does have hair in ME3 it needs to be short because hair would just cover her gorgeous facial features.

Eh no, I do love those designs but they are not the Jack I know and I love her current one more. She can get new clothes of course but I don't want a major revamp of her stye. I also don't want them to try and make her more conventionally sexy . It's nice to see the bald and tattoos look pulled of on a girl. (she needs some armor for combat tho)
