Is this from an imported ME1 save with a romance? Maybe it counts as cheating.
Nothing you do with Kelly counts as cheating. You can still romance Liara after LotSB. And after romancing Liara again you can turn around and invite Kelly right back up. Liara's picture never falls over or anything.

No idea. My Shep is single and I still got those points (not that I care).Cerbrus operative wrote...
Can somebody explain why 5 renegade points are gained when you invite kelly to your cabin for a dinner.
Maybe because it's a "Daring" action?

What's that EDI? I left the shipwide intercom on and everybody could hear what we were doing? Mordin won't stop grining and Tali refuses to come out of the engine room now?
Crap.

You have to intimidate Mordin to treat the scale itch before Tali finds out.

U could of gotten that from the dialogue wheel before intiving her up to ur cabin. Did u say the Renegade option there?
I don't think there is a renegade option. It's just inviting Kelly up for dinner which gives 5 renegade and paragon points.
ME 2 hands out paragon and renegade points for some of the most random things. For example, if Shepard says he/she has no romantic interest in Mordin, it gives some renegade points. My Shepard's lack of romantic interest in Mordin apparently makes him more intimidating in conversations.

I'm not sure Kelly was taken advantage of, but there is both +5 paragon and +5 renegade points for the invitation.

I preface my response by saying that I'm generally pleased and in agreement with ME2 characterisations: Kasumi, Samara, Jack, Miranda, yep I get those.
I admit I am simply surprised to find (And have not yet found) a "raving stripper" behind a psychologist or counsellor who didnt have the where-with-all to know that that was their actual motivation in the first place... the ones I've met (who are worth their salt) have advanced mechanisms to deal with the fascinations of their minds in relation to their profession. It's not that they don't have those proclivities (they do) they just know what it means to act it out and express it in that way.
Whipping out a dance routine in a G-string isn't wrong, it's just that someone who was a counsellor ot psychologist by profession would usually be able to intergrate that experssion in a more concurrent and direct way.

Well we agree mostly on Kelly. Maybe I just agree out of personal experience. Now on Jack we do not agree. Unfortunately, I have witnessed what happens to kids who are tortured since little... and I tell you jack is definitely not in character. Children who are subjected to torture for long periods of time do not remain sane... or even able to be in groups.
When it came to Jack at first I thought she was just a punk with a bad past... but when I realized what Cerberus did to her in Pragia... her character fell apart for me. One of the reasons I did not romance her... sci fi and all she is just far to imaginary.
Now back on the topic of Kelly. Her character could have been worked up a bit more I dont argue with that. The underlying idea though is good. Now to be honest would have enjoyed something else rather than a striptease... that was an extreme.
Stil like many things the new Bioware has done... good idea, bad implementation.
