Hello everyone...I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wanted to try and ask again.
I
recently got into making my own armor and stuff in the toolset and
wanted to try out editing the Black Templar Armor made by Kayzie. The
user gave his database in the downloadable files, but now I'm confused
about what to do with it.
How do I get those items into the toolset? Is it a matter of inserting that database into it by hand somehow?
I
know there's tutorials. I've tried to go through them, but I can't seem
to find the information I'm looking for. If anyone knows what I should
do or if anyone can give me a tip in the right direction, I'd really
appreciate it!
Heck, I don't even care if it's black. I've tried to unlock the "NPC Only" portion of the Templar Armor myself with no success...no matter what I try, it's still NPC Only.
Please help!
Templar Amor - NPC Only?

the info you are looking for hides behind custom gda files. you have to create a new entry with the appropriate linked model file (in your case the templar armor). you should find the basics here.
also in the tutorial (right before part 1) there's a linked gda package which can be used and edited further

Thanks Semper! I found the .gda files and extracted the massive armor file (which I assume to have the Templar model in it) in the DA Toolset. I was following along with the tutorial when I realized that the DA Tool I have is outdated. Tried to download the version in the link given by Adinos, but it still gives me the outdated tool and links back to the same site. Am I missing something terribly obvious?
I'm really sorry if I'm asking dumb questions >_<
EDIT: I realize that I have to somehow open the model in DA Tool, but I'm not finding the model there...
EDIT2: I found it! And I feel so stupid right now....

Ok...everything works up to the part where I load the game and the item still does not appear. I've tried editing the .gda file and have followed all the instructions in the tutorials to the letter. I've triple checked everything and I don't know what I could possibly be missing.
I'm going to try all over again from scratch...hopefully it will work this time around...
EDIT: Nothing is working...I'm not sure what's missing or what's making my character's body disappear, but I'm hoping to find a solution if I try it again with a clear head tomorrow.
On a side note, I tried taking Krayzie's database for the black templar set and figured out how to make my own module out of it. However, the items do not appear in my inventory or in Bodahn's vendor shop. I don't want to give up! I've already learned a lot through this proccess of trial and error and hope to finally find a solution
