Nice find!

Best of all, I was able to use my party’s abilities mid-chat to shut up unruly backchatters. Bethany, Hawke’s sister, has access to a fireball. Against a stream of Darkspawn, she and Hawke could stand and discuss the ways they were about to be eaten, or – with a conversation option – she could launch a pre-emptive conflagration and crisp half the incoming force.

I think they did something to the screenshots...the Varric one looks like it had a trip into high contrast world.

Yeah, the colour balance is way off in those pics. I'm pretty sure those banners and Hawke's armour are meant to be red, not bright pink.

Looks like it's running at a low res, with 0 AA.  Console version perhaps.

Oh you are right! The Kirkwall flags are usually red, not bright pinkish purple. So the armour is red and black.

Looking at the "bloodspattered book containing a dozen sub-menus, each with its own unique page design" aesthetic and then calling that "utilitarian" of all things should be considered trolling under the best of circumstances, journalistic incompetence under the worst.
