At this point, the only reason I will download the demo is to hear the FemShep version. Then it gets deleted nice and easy. I have ME1 instead.Arsix wrote...
Glad to see canonShep and his condescending views are still rollin'. Charming that he was surprised at the fact that Wrex wasn't an evil evil brute, just like all those other evil krogan. He seems to really like feeling superior to everyone else as well. People older than him are "kids" now, people more skilled than he will ever be are "little". Nice. Not sure about everyone else, but my Shepard certainly doesn't think of her team members and friends this way. Oh, well.

Going Full Paragon as Male Sheppard means:
1. Romancing Ashley (Not Consumated)
2. Saving the Rachni Queen on Noveria
3. Convince Wrex on Virmire
4. Save Kaiden on Virmire (Effectively killing of your Love Interest Ashley)
5. Save the Council on the Citadel
6. Conscript Anderson into the Council
Full Renegade as Male Sheppard means:
1. Romancing Liara (Lots of Consumating)
2. Kill the Rachni Queen on Noveria
3. Kill Wrex on Virmire
4. Save Ashley on Virmire (Perhaps saving the possiblity for a threesome in ME3?)
5. Kill the Council on the Citadel
6. Vote Udina for President
---------
So a Male Paragon Sheppard, starts a romance with Ashley and leaves her to die on Virmire to save his homie?

The condescending tone prepares the player for Talimance in ME2

But seriously, referring to someone older than you as "A good kid." Really?

This game series was built on the promise that "your choices matter". Now they have an installment where most of the carryover choices for the other two platforms don't even exist. That's a Fail of stupefying proportions, BioWare. Keep letting EA make this kind of decision for you and you won't be BioWare anymore, you'll be EA Edmonton. And I'll be patronizing Obsidian (what an absolute shocker, after TSL, I know) and Bethesda.

Was it really necessary to let this be voiced by Shepard?
I have to agree I wanted to be narrated by ether Codex narrator or Admiral Hacket.

If I had to nitpick about something that would be Rachni queen scene. Then voice acting is good for what this is meant to be, dramatic stuff and so, but I don't think I could keep straight face if someone was speaking to me in RL with same tone and intensity as voice actor in this comic.
Or maybe I replied with same tone and intensity: "Today I bought some sugar from the supermarket nearby..."
I got a feeling this is targeted mainly to attract players younger than gen X and for that I guess it's good.

I think they decided that 15 minutes is the maximum amount of time average PS3 player can be bothered with comic and worked with that time budget.
Or maybe that's the length of the install time.

This is interesting. Seriously, could that be realistic estimation for install time?

If this is what we can expect from Shepard in ME3 I fear the worst. ME2's condescending SuperShep is already annoying enough. Can we now expect him to treat his team like children? And that with him, given his behaviour, having a level of intelligence Liara, Tali or Miranda could only laugh at? Hell, they could treat him as a child and would be more justified.Arsix wrote...

Microsoft Game Studios holds the rights to ME1 and they wouldn't allow the game to be published for the PS3.JaylaClark wrote...
I'll just say it -- this is the first obviously-EA-driven move that BioWare has made, porting the game to PS3 without porting the original, that I outright hate, and that makes me worried -- no exaggeration! -- for the company as a whole.

And finally, my one big gripe--They make Udina seem like a smooth politician and a good choice, instead of an obstructionist JERK who stabs you in the back! I HATE that guy!
I think that was done because apparently one of the ME books takes Udina as the default choice and runs from there.

That makes no sense, though. Why wouldn't EA release both games? More $$ for them, after all. No, the reason they did it is due to the fact that Microsoft owns the rights, and won't let Sony get a piece.

I have never understood why people bought into the hype on this. Just think about the cost of implement so much exclusive content in a sequel. It will never work.

It can work only if some takes a lot of effort for it.

Wait 15 minutes was a good idea? That was hard enough one time round, let alone doing it every time you want to create a new Character!!
You have to admit though, 15 minutes is a lot faster than 12 hours. That's the sole advantage for the comic.
