So question for bioware.
Do you go out of your way to ****** off Ash and Kaidan fans or has it just become second nature after doing it for so long ?

I'm not a huge fan of Ashley or Kaidan, but the shaft that those two characters seem to constantly get is just ridiculous.

Maybe it's just me, but Liara's portrayal in Genesis comes across as an insult to Liara's character, too.

It is. She's not some giggling, blushing, eyelash-fluttering space-lolita.

Yes, it does.
It's insulting to all the characters. Kaidan is a good kid, Ash is background dressing, Tali is an energetic little quarian, Liara is a blushing shrinking violet and Shepard is a gigantic condescending macho D*ckbag.
WAY TO GO, BIOWARE!

And I've said enough about Kaidan and Ash, and how ME1's story in general was portrayed. I understand that the comic was to simply be a summary of Mass Effect. And that some parts need to be glossed over. But summaries also need to be accurate.
If you have an abstract in an essay that tells you what will be in the essay, and then the essay is different, would that paper get published?
Plus, a lot of people purchased ME2 on the basis of ME1. I know I did. We purchased it on the basis that we were getting an awesome RPG. Games aren't cheap, nor is the time we spend on them cheap.
So, we bought a game on the notion that an excellent story would be continued, excellent characters would be seen again, and that, "choices matter," but then they don't, people might get mad.

Liara is portrayed as a blushing shrinking violet?? I thought she was described as "as beautiful as she is intelligent" or something.Badpie wrote...

Well... I'm not trying to be mean here, but isn't that an accurate portrayal of her behavior in-game? When you pick Liara, she literally says, "I'm glad you chose me." Obviously with considerably less gushing than in your quote there.
She actually is quite a shy character in game one, in some aspects, and her Shepard crush is a main feature.

Thanks. Can my prize be BioWare saying "Yeah we're sorry, that comic was truly sh*tty. Our bad." ??

Agreed. This comic is not a good introduction into the universe, it certainly doesn't do the first game any justice, it's a separate story. It's so bad, in fact I imagine many new players would go WTF after watching the comic and then playing the game.

I like the commic, it's a good introduction to the game but it has serious diffrences with Mass Effect 1.
(watched some more) Also what the heck? It's interesting how in the game saving the Rachni Queen seemed like a decent idea while the commic defenetly suggest she was dangerous, enraged and OMG A BIG BUG!

Really though, it doesn't affect anyone but PS3 users. As bad as it sounds, It's only their story that gets ****ed.
