I think it would have been best to keep choices out of the comic and give the PS3 players the 'default' ME2 that new XBox/PC players got...i.e., no romance. The comic would still be needed to introduce the story, but it could have focused more on that instead of focusing on setting up this ridiculous 'romance confrontation' scene....which is a waste of a panel.
Seriously, how can you make any of the choices (romance, rachni, Wrex) without being properly informed? Most people are just going to randomly pick stuff.
The rachni... from the comic it almost sounds as if you set free an intelligent Alien Queen, and I think they said she had several soldiers available. Was it so hard to make a 1 minute summary of what actually happened there?

It is unfortunately a fact that Ashley and Kaidan have no content to speak of in ME 2, and the content that is there is badly written. But let's not forget that the same was true for Liara until LotSB was released. And let's also not forget that her portrayal in this comic is quite bad too, just look at those pictures. The whole comic is terrible.
Who cares about what the game (allegedly) wants to force upon you? They also wanted you to cheat on your ME 1 LI in ME 2, they even said as much. My Shepard didn't, not even before LotSB was released. It's still your own decision. And you can still choose Ashley or Kaidan in the comic. The actual problem is still that there's no proper content in ME 2.
And if you're afraid that there will be no Ashley or Kaidan DLC if BioWare sees that many PS 3 gamers don't choose them, it's more than likely that the decision of whether such as DLC will be released or not has long been made.
The problem most people have is that for all the talk about how much more compelling the ME2 LIs are, BioWare never forced Shepard to sound more interested in one character than s/he is in another - with the exception of Jacob, of course, and look how that turned out - and that is what happened in this comic.
Another problem is that what little "proper" content Kaidan and Ash had in ME2 was cut further by BioWare with their removal of Ash and Kaidan in the opening scene and substitung them with Liara.
We can agree on the comic being terrible, though, yes.

Nah. I am being respectful, not gonna threaten bioware. Besides bioware acts like Ash and Kaidan don't exist sometimes. So them having fans pissed at how they are treated must be impossible. : ) So no worries.

So question for bioware.
Do you go out of your way to ****** off Ash and Kaidan fans or has it just become second nature after doing it for so long ?

My Shepard did not cream his pants everytime he did the mindmeld.
Judging from his reaction in ME1 he hated it.

They honestly do not believe Kaidan and Ashley *have* fans. That is the only explanation I can see for all of this. They think that nobody cares about those old and busted characters, when they have the new hotness waiting for them in ME2, and Liara is included in that category as of LotSB.

Yep this picture is kinda how bioware treats Ash and Kaidan. Put them on the bottom shelf and off to the side. Even little cobwebs starting to form. Yeah, thanks for that bioware.

This picture makes me laugh, and kinda depressed/pissed off at how unfair Boware are treating Ash, Kaidan and there fans.

She is still wearing her uniform, just not her combat uniform. That's her Alliance uniform for when she's on the Normandy.

As a minor point, the conference room in which that scene takes places is from the SR2, not the SR1. Art continuity fail...
