How long do my fell mass effect fans think mass effect 3 should be?

I think it should be atleast 25 hours, and best case scenario 35 hours. I know that seems long, but I think will everything that will likely happen in the game, the extra time will just make it better. Though obviously, the game could feel patted, or go on to long for some people's tastes, but I think bioware could pull it off.

Is 25 hours considered long nowadays?

Meant 35 hours as the long part. As far as mass effect goes, that is long for me. I beat both of the other games in 18 hours, and doing most everything you could.

25 - 30 hours.

Without counting any possible DLC or sidequest, if any.

I don't really want it to start dragging on and feel padded like DAO did.

This.
I want the singleplayer to make me have to change my pants, and before I can even take them off the game is finished!!!!!!!!!1111
I want the multiplaxor to have 'capture the human colonists', 'destroy the prothean beacon' and 'Mako races' that can last for a few days before it gets stale! F*ck yeah!
:P

I don't care how long it is. We all know longer means more repetitive and shallow corridor shooting...

50 hours. No less. If not, I'll throw a rage-fit.

Not too long as it would get repetitive.

Not too short as that would be depressing.

Around 25-30 hours sounds long enough for the main campaign. I could care less about side missions though. I always ignore them in ME1 and 2 and the same will likely happen in 3.

The first two games took me around 40 hours, so i see no reason why Mass Effect 3 wont be of a similar length. Anything under 30 hours will be a major disappointment.

Depends entirely on the content, but I'd settle with around 30 hours. Makes it good for replays.

I want long and deep storytelling, so as long as its possible. I want that missions focusing on the main storyline of the ME trilogy. I dont really want any more boring (n+1)th recruiting mission or boring loyalty missions. Also, no more mining! Or i will start my new game with a nice trainer

Just as long as ME2 is good enough for me.

I wouldn't even mind if it was just as short as ME1. I just hope ME3 is a good ending.

50 hours with a nice slab of multiplayer.

I hate to break it to you but if we do get multiplayer I doubt we're going to get a 50 hour game. I've never heard of a game that has multiplayer that also has a 50 hour long single player campaign. Or are you kidding about the multiplayer?

For the main storyline, I'm thinking 25 to 35 hours. With side quests, another 15 to 25 hours added onto that. So pretty much 40 to 60 hours altogether is the desired length for me.

Give me a juicy story and dialogue for 50 hours and about 20 to 30 hours of mindless carnage (with a GOOD combat system) and I shall be happy... AND THEN fill it to 100 hours of total gameplay with mako exploration just so you guys at BioWare can brag about 100h+ lenght.

50 - 70 hours, minus any possible DLC. Long enough to develop Shepard a bit more character and really complete his/her story arc all while tying up a few loose ends,  the characters, dealing w/ the Reaper plot and great combat and enemies.

40-50 hours, before DLC, and playing on normal. (Add about 5 hours per difficulty level).
