It won't be any worse than it was when ME2 first came out. Far less of a rush actually since 360+PC is a far larger user-base than just PS3.

The day ME3 on PS3 was announced was a highlight in flamewar history. I enjoyed watching from a distance.

I think people are overreacting. There will be no flood of threads asking bizzare questions about the story and plot of both games. No threads declaring PS3 to be awesome and X-Box to be ****. Trust me, we won't notice a thing. More Tali-Fans maybe but that's it.

While I would like this to be truth, my respect (or lack there of) for humankind on the internet makes me a doubter .

I'll be happy to spend a few minutes helping out those new to the game. Silly platform war be damned, we are all brothers and sisters in mass effect. Who cares if they are on the PC, the 360, or the PS3? The bigger the audience for a great game like Mass Effect the better.

Precisely. Let's hope BioWare comes out and declares that all events on ME1 actually happened and, canon-wise, supercede the bloody comic.

I demand a response from Bioware. Is the comic completely cannon or did they purposefully leave out some details? If yes then ME 3 is doomed, if no then PS3 gamers are getting the shortest end of the shortest stick

Exactly, and that is extremely worrying. They have re-written the story.

I mean the PS3 players miss out on so much. Why would BW include all the things like Conrad Verner, Shiala, Fist, Emily wong, the colonists on Feros etc. in ME3, if the PS3 players don't get it?

I'm not demanding anything, mind you. I have no such right. I'd just like to see this cleared, as this, along with MP, will decide wether I pre-order Mass3 or not.

Precisely, there are so many little things that make Mass Effect 2 (and 3) much bettter...and now they have been removed. BioWare are not gonna make ME3 on PS3 so incredibly inferior (content wise) to PC/Xbox360.
