When trying to start the game, I receive the following error message -

Error: Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported.
Line 1, Column 40 in inter XML settings.

Any help?  Thanks

Neither of you has bothered to submit a proper tech report. We need far more information. And one of you hasn't even bothered to register the game so it could be a fake copy for all we know.

It all startet with a failing launcher, error see above. So I treid a reinstall, just to get the same error from the autostart. A manual start with setup just results in a failed installation when I wish to specify the directory

AFAIK, the 275.33 driver is useless with any Bioware game. Use another instead.

You will tell me, it's just because of the video drivers?
The game itself runs, when you use the normal game exe. And, as I made my research via google, the problem occurs for quite a long time, but I will try older drivers

I don't know enough to say that with certainty, although almost all ofr the nVIDIA drivers newer than 266-somthing have problems with the UT3 game engine used in this game.  Please complete the rest of a standard problem report if the rollback of drivers doesn't help you.
