i have a problrm in the skymirror, ive casted all the spells and walked toward the water when elanee starts to speak, but i cant go any further forward as the scene keeps repeating itself

You have to cast the proper spell--one spell, then approach one of the trees in the Skymirror. When you do, a light will swirl around the tree. Repeat this process until one of the trees drops an item. I think it was a piece of bark. Once you have that, approach the pool of water. Hope that helps.
