tricks with maze

before the drow infiltration: adalon changes everyone into a drow. to prevent this, maze all but 1 char, this char is taking one for the team. this char talks to adalon to drow change. the people who come back will not be drow, but the quest will continue as normal.
sacrificing yourself in a dream: in a dream sequence, you will eventually be asked to sacrifice an attribute to open a door. the demon of course, asks too much of me. a carefully timed maze from a sim or pi will allow you to go underground when this happens - allowing you to sacrifice nothing but open the door correctly. timing can be fine tuned with the distance away the clone is.
selfish test: requires a mage/high thief/bard in slot 2. during the hell trial, you will be asked to sacrifice EVEN MORE of your attributes and XP for the character in slot 2. maze slot 2. talk to demon. open 2 doors, not the 3rd (which would have killed slot 2). slot 2 reappears after maze wears off, have slot 2 talk to demon. you have the good route. slot 2 now mazes self (with scroll or spell). open 3rd door with protagonist. wait for maze to wear off and gtfo. alternately, you could have used a scroll of immunity from spell school scroll on player 1 and used the first set of doors, but the point is, maze is useful.
for cheesy characters: my main is a mage dualed to a multiclass cleric thief. a full book of mage spells, cleric spells and the ability to disarm traps/open locks/detect invis/high level traps. i do ALL the fighting and my party rarely sees enemies at all, unless a transition forces them to see enemies. some enemies, especially with mods, always attack the lowest HP char and sometimes teleports to them when i'm away clearing the map. maze will stop this sillyness. imprison removes them, unfortunately, and some party members very much dislike being removed from party.
if you find more tricks with maze, please let me know

Or you could just install that specific component from the G3 Tweakpack.squiros wrote...

I also have a screenshot of somebody having so many buffs running she was actually protected from the spell.
You are WHAT?for cheesy characters: my main is a mage dualed to a multiclass cleric thief.

Lol i know, i'm pretty sure its impossible to pull that off. You need to be human to dual class and non human to multiclass doing both is just not possible.
Actually maybe if u use shadowkeeper to input everything manually. Otherwise yep impossible.

That's not the only problem.Moganza wrote...

I have played both multiclass humans and dualclass non-humans (though a combination of both is, as you say, impossible).
But there is no Cleric/Mage/Thief combination.

There are two ways to emulate such a build:
1) Making a Cleric/Thief and using mage spell scrolls with UAI
2) Using a modded kit with Mage and Thief abilities (and modified Cleric spells in the mage spell book)

maybe a gemrb installation? or does that not work yet?
You will need to add a new class to gemrb.
cleric/mage/thief is totally impossible in the original game, so you might need to modify a lot of things.

Uh... doesn't the demon talk to the protagonist? What happens when main character is mazed again?squiros wrote...

Anyway, if you're going to use exploits, it's much easier just use Fake Talk on the demon.
EDIT: I can confirm that Semi-Multi Mod works pretty well. For a C/M/T you start (and gains levels) as a M/T and get the ability to memorize cleric spells as if they were mage spells. Of course you don't get Turn Undead since the "controls" are hardcoded -- IIRC there may be an extra spell with sort of gives the same effect. There's also the issue with the "memorize" screen not having enough room to actually display very many spells to choose from, so unless you are critical about what you memorize, you may end up not being able to memorize some spells. ... And of course C/M/T is absurdly overpowered.
