They are tall, slim, have big eyes and longer ears - imagine Avatar's Na'Vi mixed with the elves from Origins and you're getting close to how they look now. And no, they are not blue. 

Now I am pretty happy for DA elves. And haters-gonna-hate for sure.

I'm almost ceartain that is a mistake on the reviewer's part. I think I remember teh devs saying that the one concept art we got in August wasn't actually to scale, and the elves are still shorter than humans.
I like them better short.

I am sure haters are gonna bump into each other and complain...but who cares?! I am happy as hell!

EDIT: I don't want them taller than humans, but as tall as humans at least.

Me too. The height thing seems to exist to prove how much better they are. "They are tall, lithe, graceful, beautiful!"

I'm cool with short. There's nothing insulting about it, it's different, and I see no reason for them to be tall.

I loved Bodhan and Sandal, glad they are back. And the new elves do have similar faces to the Na'Vi.

Well, some universes do have tall elves. I believe they were in Tolkein's. I'm ok with it.

They never have says that DA2 elves are as short as DAO. All they they were saying is that concept art is not necessary to scale.
Perhaps elves are still shorter than humans but et least their males are some inches higher than human females. And that us more than o.k. for me.

I know and  I am sorry-_-.
But sometimes it seems that people come to  identify elves high in DA universe with their low social status and hard life. So they are think that with making elves taller and less human like will lead to loss of the sense of desperation and "know your place elf!".
But for me the tragedy of elven people is more prominent with slightly alien, beautifully race that were crashed  no matter the look or culture.

Elven high in DA2 seems like a HUGE secret.

They never answered this question no matter how hard people were trying-_-. 
So I think that we will never get an answer until we play a game ourselves.
