The people on this forum really don't leave their basements if they've never seen someone wear a mini dress.

In battle?

Ninja's only wear pyjamas on battle.

They actually wore peasant clothing. The proper uniformed Ninja is a complete Myth.

And the point was that they wore cloth.

yeah and if a ninja had to face opponents head on he already failed. Ninja fought dirty...never head on and preferred to hide, strike, flee as such they did not need armor....if they found themselves in the position of needing armor they already failed

now tell me Isabela is NOT gonna take anyone head on the entire game, she is gonna be hidden before every fight and she is never going to find herself in the situation in which armor would have been useful...I dare you

Isabella...Bella Donna...you want to see Isabella in action? Are you sure? Alright then....I can show both me and MY Isabella in action.

(Maybe will get banned now, but I don't care, has been fun.)

Edit: This picture tells also what kind of "support" Isabella needs in DA2.

Isabella, the civilian rogue, should wear armor and a shield because the warriors in the Spartan military did? lol

I'm afraid I don't think this is a good argument at all. Yes ninja (wtf is the plural?) need disguise, stealth and assasination. As such they didn't wear armour. In reality pirates need to climb, jump and swim and as such they shouldn't be wearing any armour. Name one pirate from history that wore heavy armour.

All this talk about Isabella not being armoured properly is starting to wear thin. A lot of the arguments people have made about armour being a good thing in a battle are good points... but completely irrelevent to Isabella. She needs mobility and freedom of movement. Bioware has made a creative decision with her atire which is not unpractical. There is nothing wrong with it.

a simple chestpiece would offer protection to her vital organs and allow her full mobility...and would still be sexy to a point

sure it's bioware's call but whether it makes sense or not it's another argument....just like some attires in ME2

FFS NO

my reply was to those who said spartans went into battle naked

Isabela should wear SOME armor or armored clothes because wearing none, given what she is going to do, makes nosense

Watching the FFXIII-2 reveal today, my mind was brought back to this discussion. Mainly after they showed Lightning's new attire.

bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/191944-/01-noscale.jpg

I think that's a) sexier and B) more sensibly designed then Isabela. Lightning's got slightly more normal proportions as well. Did a JRPG seriously just make their lead character a more sensible female then one in a Bioware game, cause if they did, I need to check what alternate universe I fell into.

Good. You should be.

Ontopic: Good grief people wanting Isabela to cover some vulnerable parts of her body isn't the same as wanting her to cover every part of her skin.

*jaw drops*

That armor is beautiful! I would love to wear something like that. Somewhat protective (sure some parts are not but it's fantasy!) as well as attractive and eyecapturing.

It manages to capture your eye without relying on ****** and ass.

Edit: And she has a shield(?)! So everywhere not covered by armor can still be protected!

I am going to do nude run in "nightmare" (LOL) because Morri, Leliana, and Wynne thinks clothes just make people unequal and therefore refuse to wear any.

You know, it is all about skill. My chicks doesn't need armour.

Yeah, but she has pink hair. I hate that as much as anyone complaining about Isabella's outfit hates... her outfit.

Indeed she is.

I find that outfit far more eyecapturing and attractive than Isabela's.

I'm a sucker for plate armor with a 'skirt', Anything will do the trick. As long as it's hanging down between the legs.

I'm so sorry. That was horrible.

Templar armor in DAO is a good example.
