Is Dragon Age going to do that stupid thing where girl characters are ALWAYS dressed skimpily?

As for her outfit, as long as it fits her character I won't really mind. Hard to tell without seeing her in game though.
Ryzaki wrote...
Doesn't help that it really looks completely bland other than the fact that she's advertising the goods. There's nothing that's really appealing about the outfit itself. But that's a problem BW has with armor/clothing in general.
Indeed, I don't believe I can name a piece of armor on the top of my head from a bioware game that I drooled over said I WANT IT NAOW.
hmm
Darth Revans robes would be an exception to that I guess. I'm a sucker for black.

Isabela should wear SOME armor or armored clothes because wearing none, given what she is going to do, makes nosense

Yeah too bad the robe clipped until you used Revan's flowing robe mode. But then you were stuck with the mask or the hood would clip.
Though really that's the only piece of armor I felt I *had* to have in a BW games. The rest of the armor was distinctly yawn worthy. And really most Jedi robes in the vanilla KOTOR game were terrible. ...Not that the armor was much better.

Yeah, kotor II had actual robe robes, shame about the rest.
Oh and, thats why you use the bald male head or the short female hair, just for the hood

But my favorite female was the black woman with medium length loose hair.

Hmm, I don't recall what that face looks like. I'll have to investigate.
Also, something I found a bit hilarious about the whole thing is the player running around with Darth Revans robes through out the whole game and no one bats an eyelash, you'd think it would send out some signals.
I know it's a mod and all but it makes the player look like a Star Wars Conrad Verner.
How'd you get a copy that armor Conrad? They make some decent copies these days. Or maybe someone sold Darth Revans used robes on Ebay.
Get THE robe the sith master died in, wear it everyday, not creepy at all. only 10 million credits.

Isn't that dude that you beat in the arena on Taris...what's his name...? The weird dude who loses to everybody but if you use the restortation mod tries to take your name kind of like a SW Conrad?
Though yes it totally does. And its glorious.
Pfft. 10 million creds? All Darth Revan had to do was force choke a b****.

Hmm, Deadeye is it? Rings a bell.
Also, I doubt a force choke is a valid payment option on ebay. I'll definatly look the next time I'm there though.

Yes. OMG he shares a name with the most awesome character ever!
Poor Duncan. Sharing a name with a newb like him.
Hey what can I say. A sith lord has to pay the bills somehow!

Oh yeah, I knew there was something more than Deadeye. If he would have had Duncans beard it would have over right there for the player.
It's one of the pros of the postition of Sith lord for sure, that and being allowed to change deals on the fly.
love how delightfully offtopic we are.

Deadeye couldn't handle the epicness of Duncan's beard.
Not really. We are talking about BW's blah worthy armor/clothing designs still. Kind of at least.

Also yes one of the pros of a sith lord indeed.
I just hope DA2 armor isn't as blah as most of BW games armor but my hopes aren't particularly high. I mean in that dev vid we saw Mage Hawke in the most blah robes eva.

LOL we did go all over the place didn't we?
Still I don't see how BW managed to make a tunic dress look bland. I mean...that's a talent in of itself right?

I actually like the design. And no, its not solely because it shows off her knockers and legs well

I'd like to think the character makes the clothes rather than the other way 'round, but without the character part, dissing the outfit is all we have.

True but the reason for her outfit is supposedly that it's part of her character. It's supposedly iconic and shows insight into her character. The only thing I see is a bland dress that's advertising the goods and boots that look like they'd take a lot of patience and time to get in. And a large gaudy gold necklace. Well in that case what do you see?
*no I'm not trying to be mean. Just saying what I see. I want to see what others think we they see this outfit.

I wouldn't assume such.
Do I seem like someone who would assume that's why?

I see someone who isn't above using looks and stereotypes to her advantage in order gain an edge over her foes.

True that.
In that case I see someone who can carry a great deal of weight around (the necklace). Someone who likes to be up in her foes faces.
Though I'm glad she let the slaves go. I didn't want my Hawke to have to murder knife her.
