Is Dragon Age going to do that stupid thing where girl characters are ALWAYS dressed skimpily?

Did someone say rippling muscles ? Where ? Seriously I like the Qunari's new look: shirt less, where muscles are abound.
I'd love it if it was effortless to mow them down now because they are wearing no armor at all........
Tell that to the Spartans and the dead Persians!
only issue
1: Spartans wore bronze cuirasse
2: their BEST asset was their huge shiled, the technology of which (pyramid-arranged wood planks + leather + layers of bronze) was unmatched at the time and remained unmatched for centuries (hell even the roman tower shields sucked in comparison)
nice try tho

uhm.....take a look at the qunari......

aside for the shoulder pads he is only wearing belts......why is it ridiculous if a girl wears that kind of attire but if a GUY does it it's acceptable?
oh and for the lulz

Random accusations of sexism aside, I can't even tell that he isn't wearing armor. If he isn't then I assume it has something to do with their culture. If that is the case then I suppose I don't see anything wrong with it.

I think it's character perspective. Maybe Isabella is using the look of the armor to distract the enemy to slip a dagger in the ribs. I also think it depends on what armor you equip to them that determines look.
in a culture in which men and women are not segregated in different roles (and as such there is just as many women soldiers/mercenaries as there is men soldiers/mercenaries) how is her taxtic going to protect her from someone who is not attracted to her?
you cannot, also, equip any armors on companions, you can opnly equip outfits specifically made for them

read the codex........
Yes, they're described as "warriors in glittering steel armor" or similar. Also, that dude is wearing about 300% more armor than any other qunari we've seen thus far. Most of them are completely shirtless, except for the mages and this dude. They look like dockworkers who just went on break.

I dunno.....honestly if there was an explanation like
"Qunari's skin is as hard as a Krogan's hide.....they are SO badass with it that they do not need armor"
I'd say ok....... but as it is it leaves me wondering

That said, it doesn't really happen too much during the vanilla game. I get that a lot more seeing people screenshots from mods and stuff (Phoenix armour, desire demon clothing etc.)

It could very well be that the shirtless Qunari are the result of you launching a surprise sneak attack on their barracks or something. Or it's Varric exaggerating. Or maybe they're just hot. Or they were in the bath. There could be a fairly simple justification for it that the devs aren't interested in elaborating on at the moment.

From what little we know about the Qunari from DA:O, I am guessing it has something to do with either honour or religion.

So... Because the codex mentions an invasion of amored Qunari, this rules out the possibility that Qunari may fight without it, and that this may be because of religion or honour?
