 Howdy,

I'm playing through the OC with my wife in a Multiplayer Lan game and we lost Daelan. He was our henchman when we saved the game last time but when we load the saved game he is nowhere to be found. He's not where we last were, he's not at the divining pool in the temple, and he's not in the Trade of Blades with the other henchman. Does anyone know the tag for Daelan and the proper procedure for respawning him?

First off, I accept responsibility for not looking through ALL the NWN1 forums for the answer to my question. Even though most normal people don't have that kind of spare time (I personally found the search engine to be useless).

I naturally assumed the tech help forum would be the correct place to get an answer to a technical question. However, it would have been nice if someone would have had the courtesy to direct me to this thread when I asked the question.

Please don't assume you were purposely shunned. More likely than not, whoever glanced at your original post simply had no idea as to the answer. Most of us would likely have had to instead do a search for similar topics just as you yourself did.

One problem is the partitioning of NWN-related information tends to create mini-communities that frequent just those subforums where they have some expertise. So in that respect, many that check the Tech Forum are experienced in solving problems related to getting the game engine running properly rather than suggesting module-specific fixes. To add to that phenomenon, visitors will respond according to their personal opportunities/schedules so you may have to wait until the "cycle" comes around. Be patient. Experiment with searching in our newest community knowledge base as we all struggle to master. If there are answers, you can be sure the folks here will do everything they can to help you enjoy your NWN gaming experience.

I must be "search-engine challenged". I couldn't come up with anything by typing in variations of "Henchman". I dredged through all 8 pages of the tech forum before I decided to check the OC forum. Finding the stickied thread about henchman solutions was a pleasant turn around though. Got the issue solved and am moving forward through the game.



My wife is brand new to D&D, and NWN. She's having a grand time with it.
