I am torn on this. On one hand I am a big romantic softy who loves these sort of sappy endings and wants bioware to include it in game. It also include opportunities for awesome drama. What happens if you have to sacrifice the quarians to save the galaxy? How will that change your relationship with Tali?
On the other hand I can't see how Bioware would include this in game without it being to forced or hammy in context to the greater threat.

Didn't I already comment on this? Well anyway I don't want forced marriage the option could show up at some point in an appropriate time in game. Like for instance Thane talks about his dead wife hitting on him immediately afterwards is wrong BW so lets say all of Palvin is destroyed Garrus is devastated thats not the time you pull out the so lets get married Garrus! No use tack here BW surely your writers have it in them on that.
And make it dependant on player actions through out the games for Tali and Garrus its sense ME - ME3 if its say Jack its ME2 - ME3.
If they're alien you get a later conversation when they ask would it be human or (insert LIs species here) they'd explain to you how their marriage ceremony is and shep picks and at the end of the game if you get a good ending you see a shot or two of your shep their LI and the wedding style they choose and possibly even planet. Say your LI is Garrus and you choose Turian wedding you'll see humans in the photo but it wont' be overwhelming sense your wedding is on Palvin. All characters in photo are obviously wearing the appropriate marriage wear say Turains do head wrap and long gown for weddings fsheps not showing up in a white veil dress or combat gear. Like wise if your LI is Garrus and you choose human wedding he's in a moddified tux and sheps in white.
