AI HACKING IS AWESOME!

Engineer Eddy Shepard got bored with his hamster and spaced it. Eddy wanted something new and different - a YMIR would be nice! These Heavy Mechs are extremely dangerous and very unpredictable, only a skilled Engineer would be able to tame one. The hunt went smoothly but Eddy and Kasumi's enthusiasm to teach YMIRanda back-flips spoiled everything and broke its neck.

The famous Haestrom Arena proudly presents Geth Games. Responsibility to ensure fair fighting was given to referee Engineer Eddy Shepard and his two assistants, Garrus and Legion. Only the bravest Geth volunteered to participate in these gruesome battles hoping to gain legendary fame among synthetics all over the universe. Let's get ready to rumble!

AI Hacking isn't just a funny business, Engineer Eddy was very serious trying to graduate for his Claymore course at the Tuchanka University. No more messing around this time.

Agent Kaylee decided to show engineer Eddy, that he's not the only one taming YMIRs. Not only did she pet one herself, but also arranged a duel with another YMIR to test her pet's power with epic results.

Agent Kaylee went to the Alarei with Miranda and Tali and started a geth rebellion to reclaim the ship and prove Tali's innocence.

Triple AI Hacking versus triple YMIR. Who cares about saving those damn crates anyways - nuking mechs is a lot more fun!

Well, it seems like Hayley didn't fall asleep during classes and took notes on Eddy's lessons. Question: What to do with a prison full of trash? Clean up? But how? Answer: Get yourself a proper vacuum cleaner!

Adept Faith Shepard can't hack herself, but a Quarian-Geth squad covers her well-curved butt. Faith's tech ignorance and Tali and Legion's constant bickery forced the team to hack the YMIR the hard way.

Thanks :)

What goes around comes around, eh? Too bad you can't pet YMIRs and Primes throughout missions - would be fun, but easy.

Haven't tried triple AI Hacking Engineers yet. Might be a little overkill but I'll check it out :)

Great videos, AI Hacking is amazing.

My personal favorite AI Hacking moment is Garrus' LM with the double YMIR near the end. Once you strip one of defenses the battle just becomes rather silly, with them just nuking each other all the way into oblivion.

Very nice. Though got thrown for a second when I pause my music player for the YIMR and the song I was just listening to started. :P

Engineer's been the only class I've not taken through the ME-verse yet. Vids like these always add a few more points to the argument for trying it out.

Well played sir! These videos were just what I needed to add some laughter to my afternoon. Especially the third video. I don't think I've ever felt so uplifted while watching something so badass. And don't it feel good? :D

Yeah, two YMIRs fighting each other is great. And there are the two you'll face on a Blue Sun's N7 Assignment - and 3 saving the crates!

LOL, that's quite the coincidence :) Great song and band so I can approve :D

I only started playing ME2 Engineer a couple months ago, the videos in this thread got me excited. Love the (SG) Engineer since but still have to play a ME1 Engineer though.

It's not the delay I think. Enemies execute a re-targeting protocol every second or so, you'll need to hack YMIR exactly the right moment or it will be back to its former self, target Shep and starts the missile sequence. There's no stopping it then. I have similar issues with Drones, most of the time they'll draw YMIR's attention, but sometimes the "timing" isn't right and YMIR shoots (rockets only) Shepard.

Jesus, Moses, Muhammad... absolute murderball in the third video. Shotgun Engineers and Infiltrators are ace in my book. Totally wasn't expecting that cryo-YMIR-backflip in the first vid haha! Great tactic too, it never occured to me to follow the mech while it went on its bloody rampage. Good stuff!

Great stuff, as always.
Second video was quality. If the widow is considered the "finger of god", AI hacking (or dominate for that matter) is the "will of god", who in this case is Shepard! :wizard:

Great videos, Bozorgmehr. But if the Engineer gets nerfed in ME3, I'm blaming you.

That is awesome stuff, I always wanted to have my own YMIR!

I actually just started a new Engineer with attack drone/cryo blast/AI hacking/AP ammo specifically to hack the tough synthetics. I took AP ammo because Overload/Incinerate isn't going to make it on my controller buttons. So far, it's been a blast, Overlord and Jack's recruitment was fun as hell. I'll probably have some trouble on Horizon, but it's nothing I can't handle. I think I'll replay him in NG+ for the full effect. Kudos for the vids!

Thanks everyone!

@ Curunen: I kinda felt like Sovereign on Geth missions :) Although it are just the easily fooled Heretics that got Hacked!

@ Lazuli: Engineers are cool, I don't think they need to be nerfed in ME3 - though I don't think they can have all the Geth fighting the Reapers that easily.

I'm curious about the possibilities of AI Hacking versus Reapers - they're machines after all. Petting a Sovereign-class spacecraft would be awesome!

@ Tony: The YMIR and Geth vids are NG+, Shep had no upgrades on Kasumi's LM, but got the important ones before traveling to Haestrom. Engi's also get a discount on research - should be nice of 360 :)

Haha, great vid Aynien, forgot Infiltrators can hack too! But they can't use drones although you used Garrus and Miranda to substitute :)

At first I was thinking about bringing Tali, instead of miranda, but it was on my Widow save, so I though it would be faster to get thru the stage doing OHK on normal mobs.  And for Ai Hack, yeah, it's a nice power to play with, specially if you want to change your pace. I think a shotgun(Evi/Katana user) would be fun to play with it. Using synthetics to distract while you cqc the rest.

Yeah, AI Hacking is great for those who like to CQC - however, do remember enemies will always attack the closest target. Hacking a mech in the middle of a group will make the entire group target the hacked mech, but if you get in the middle, they will target you instead. Key here is positioning, if you manage to keep away form the hacked mech it's fairly easy to kill all enemies without taking any damage yourself. But one false move can ruin everything.

Bioware labeled this power AI Hacking; you need to hack enemies and understand how AI works to become a true AI Hacking Champion B)

Aw, that's awesome!

I just finished that level...I didn't hack the heavy mech :(

Next time I will, though.
