Always loved her since the arcade gaming days. And my favourite theme from street fighter is hers too.

Cammy. I always had really good luck when playing her. It had to be luck, really, because it sure wasn't skill.
She has a couple of moves that are some of the easiest to pull off in the games (even easier in Street Fighter IV) I love using her Canon Spike when i take on somebody who likes to hide lack of skill by jumping all over

I'd have to say Ken. Although there was a mall(if you could even call it that) beside our high school that had a Street Figher 2 machine and there would be a crowd gathered every day at lunch time to play. I spent over a year and a half unbeaten with Guile, challengers came and went with the immortal words "Go home and be a family man" ringing in their ears and their very souls. Until the day Fat Brian got a flukey victory over me with Chun Li. I've been a broken man ever since, sometimes I wake up in the night covered in sweat and hearing the words "I'm the strongest woman in the world" echoing through the night.
This really needs to be turned into a made for TV movie.

Actually it's more fun to use her Street Fighter IV quote "How does it feel getting beaten up by a pretty little girl like me?" if i take on a guy who thinks i'll suck because i'm a chick
Good times.

I also played Guile a lot.. mostly because I liked the sonic boom and I could actually perform it. M Bison was fun too with his little flying superpowers but I don't think I ever played a female character, not until this year. I was always afraid I couldn't control their legs

First time I played as Bison I had no idea what was going on with his flying allover the place, mostly because it was on that pirate version of the game that some arcades had which was utterly mental. Did anyone ever play that? I think it was quite common before the championship edition came out.
I will meditate then destroy you.

Wasn't that a Street Fighter II Turbo machine with the turbo settings on full? I think they used to do stuff like that to make you lose and spend more money. Like when they always put machines on hard mode.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. It was before the first version that let you play as the four boss characters if my memory serves. They were made selectable and everything was messed up, dragon punches would fill the entire screen, hurricane kicks went up and down the whole way across the screen, someone could shoot three fireballs at once and there was crazy assed collision detection. People were flying everywhere. It was a long time ago and I didn't get much time with it but I'm pretty sure it was hacked and completely unnofficial.Moondoggie wrote...

I never noticed the games were set on hard mode back in the day. It wasn't until I played a MAIM emulator a few years ago that I had to question how the hell I managed to finish half those games, they were diabolical.

In the original Street Fighter II I would have to say without a doubt Guile for his Fierce standing Flash Kick 4-hit combo. (Not sure if I can pull that off now though. Getting rusty.) Loved his winning quote of "Go home and be a family man" which is ironic given his backstory. But after SFII Capcom made him weaker during all the rebalancing. Gr....
Ever since SFII I think I go for Ryu more than most others. Or maybe Ken.
And beating anyone with Dan is always a laugh. Love his "I kill you!" and shouts of "Oyajiiiii!" particularly in Pocket Fighter (or Super Gem Fighter). Actually, I dust that down occasionally just to play Dan.

I didn't play Street Fighter until it hit Super Nintendo so I was never privy to that edition - and thank god! I would've given up right away and steered clear of that game
The game I used more quarters than I've had in my life on was Double Dragon II.... I remember having this HUGE pocket full of them and just kept reaching in every time I died. I was playing so long or so good, I even got free plays out of it too, recruiting people from the crowd cheering around me to play as the red guy (forgot his name- LOL) I think it took me about 3 hours or so to beat the game, I don't really remember the time. That's when you know you're having fun
Ahhhhh, the good old gaming days.... thank god or whoever for games... where would we be without them? Probably knitting or something... not that there's anything wrong with that

When I first bought SF4, I was enamored with C. Viper. Still am. But she's a b*tch to play. I admire any gamer who can play well with her, cause I sure as hell can't.
