I want to add more spells to Good, Evil, Law, and Chaos domains to make them not so borng.  Any suggestions?  I can't do anything more complicated then that.  I'm not a scripter.  So, I'll have to work with what's avaiable.  Making them powerful is not the most important thing, just making less boring and staying within theme.

How about...

Chaos: Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Mind Fog, Crushing Despair. Song of Discord too, but maybe it makes no sense for a Cleric.

Law: Dismissal at a lower level, Prismatic Spray, Power Word: Something.

Evil: Circle of Death, Vampiric Touch, Gate.

Good: Sunburst.

One of the things I was mulling over was something like +1/2 level intimidate bonus for evil domain, or +1 per level with L+3 cap on the bonus + the ranks. But that is scripting so not sure how soon that would happen. For Chaos or Trickery it would be bluff.

I was also thinking of forgetting about them because the alignment mechanism hardly exists in NWN2, so scripting would be in order and there is overlap with other domains and the gods have no control over alignment in D&D, not even Ao I think.

But, I'm still mulling over ideas, not quitting. Just haven't had time to really go over the spells yet. The spell descriptors in Spell Compendium and PHB should be enlightening, or make me want to redesign everything.

I would have thought Prismatic Spray went under Chaos. Since you have the sourcebooks, basically anything with the Good, Evil, Law and Chaos descriptors should work. I'd think maybe some necromancy-type things (e.g. Neg Energy Burst, tho it's not by default in NWN2, Animate Dead etc) for Evil, maybe some protective spells of buffs for Good?

I thought the same, but many of those spells are already in any Cleric's spellbook. They could gain them at a lower level, though.

Yes, just using currently available cleric spells at lower spell slots is a good fix.

Just look at PnP Destruction domain then compare that to NWN2 destruction domain on nwn2.wikia.  Destruction domain is pretty easy to fix.

PnP
DESTRUCTION DOMAIN
Deities: St. Cuthbert, Hextor.
Granted Power: You gain the smite power, the supernatural ability to make a single melee attack with a +4 bonus on attack rolls and a bonus on damage rolls equal to your cleric level (if you hit).  You must declare the smite before making the attack. This ability is usable once per day.

Destruction Domain Spells
1 Inflict Light Wounds: Touch attack, 1d8 damage +1/level (max +5).
2 Shatter: Sonic vibration damages objects or crystalline creatures.
3 Contagion: Infects subject with chosen disease.
4 Inflict Critical Wounds: Touch attack, 4d8 damage +1/level (max +20).
5 Inflict Light Wounds, Mass: Deals 1d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.
6 Harm: Deals 10 points/level damage to target.
7 Disintegrate: Makes one creature or object vanish.
8 Earthquake: Intense tremor shakes 5-ft./level radius.
9 Implosion: Kills one creature/round.

This could easily be something like:

DESTRUCTION DOMAIN
Granted Power: Smite Infidel.

Destruction Domain Spells
0 Inflict Light Wounds: Touch attack, 1d8 damage +1/level (max +5).
1 Inflict Moderate Wounds:   Touch attack, 2d8 damage +1/level (max +10)
2 Inflict Serious Wounds:  Touch attack, 3d8 damage +1/level (max +15)
3 Inflict Critical Wounds: Touch attack, 4d8 damage +1/level (max +20).
4 Inflict Light Wounds, Mass: Deals 1d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.
5 Inflict Moderate Wounds, Mass: Deals 2d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.
5 Harm: Deals 10 points/level damage to target.
6 Inflict Serious Wounds, Mass: Deals 3d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.
7 Inflict Critical Wounds, Mass: Deals 4d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.
7 Disintegrate: Makes one creature or object vanish.
8 Implosion: Kills one creature/round.
9 Inflict Critical Wounds, Mass: Deals 4d8 damage +1/level to any creatures.

Instead of:

NWN2
Destruction Domain
Granted power: The player receives the Smite Infidel feat for free.

Spells
3 Rage
6 Acid Fog

Another possibility is to use acid spells since acid destroys so much.  So does fire, but that already has a domain.

Spell Compendium lists Avasculate as Necromancy [Death, Evil], Level: Deathbound 7, sorcerer/wizard 7.  So it's already in a cleric domain in PnP.

DEATHBOUND DOMAIN

Granted Power: Your limit for creating undead animated
with spells increases to three times your caster level instead of
the normal two times caster level.

Deathbound Domain Spells
1 Chill of the Grave†: Ray causes cold damage.
2 Blade of Pain and Fear†: Creates blade of gnashing teeth.
3 Fangs of the Vampire King†: Grow vampire fangs.
4 Wither Limb†: Cause enemy’s limbs to wither.
5 Revive Undead†M: Restores undeath to undead that was destroyed up to 1 day/level ago.
6 Awaken Undead†X: Grant sentience to otherwise mindless undead.
7 Avasculate†: Reduce foe to half hp and stun.
8 Avascular Mass†: Reduce foe to half hp and stun, entangle in 20-ft. radius from victim.
9 Wail of the Banshee: Kills one creature/level.
