What you're really saying is PS3 users won't get a chance to play the wonderful game that is ME1, I don't really care how they get to make their choices for ME2/3. The larger customer base will give Bioware some more cash to make games that I want to play.
No what people have issues with is that the bulk of the content from ME1 was missing from the comic with a chunk of what was included being partially wrong.
What does this mean for ME3? Does the ignoring of all the minor and a chunk of the major happenings of ME1 mean that ME3 is going to totally forget about what happened in ME1 as well, making ME1 pointless? Afterall, if the PS3 users don't know about critical things like the Citadel being a giant mass relay, then how are Bioware going to incorporate them into future games?
That was mostly aimed at the OP who was fussing the Bioware had forsaken the 360 fan base. I don't see it that way and don't really care if they took artistic licsence with a comic book(whatever form it takes) What it comes down to is PS3 users don't get ME1.
As far as what the save state is going to be for ME3 they've pretty consistently said that your choices would carry over. Until someone from Bioware says otherwise there is no reason not to believe that that is still true.
