So a few of us over on LiveJournal decided that we were getting too antsy waiting for DA2 to come out. To keep ourselves occupied, we decided to launch a pan-Bioware fandom Big Bang!
A big bang is a collaborative project that is spread out over several months, in which writers and artists collaborate to create a complete story. The way ours is working is this:
Writers and artists sign up separately. The writers work for a few months on creating a story that is at least 10k words long. Once they've been working for a while, we create a giant post of fic summaries, and artists choose which stories sound like something they could work with. The mods then pair everybody up until each writer has an artist, and they complete the stories together.
