Well I think the women of DA have discovered implants. Women are stacked with D's in DAII, not to mention your sisters are busting out of the corset-tight clothes.

Variation is great, but hard to implement. I imagine it takes a lot of effort to make differing body models, and then different clothes to fit those body models, etc. So, with that in mind, I don't mind the bigger breasts. In a perfect world, there would be enough time and money to make tons of different body models and clothes. We would have good looking characters, ugly ones, deformed ones, short ones, tall ones, fat ones, skinny ones, and busty and non-busty ones.

So I am fine with big breasts. I think they help feminize the female characters just like huge muscles help "masculinize" the male characters. In a fantasy game, we will have fantastical characters.



As a side note, how come there isn't as many male muscle complaints as there are breast size complaints? Every male in DA:O(Aside for the occasional heavier ones) was ripped. That is unrealistic. It also sexualizes males. It can also fall under the argument of it can "confuse young teens to think that every guy has perfect muscular definition".



Anyways, I don't mind the lack of variation due to valid reasoning of using time and resources on other avenues of game development(Story, characters, etc.). Variation would be nice however.

Anyway, if DAII allows body customization, such as muscle mass, muscle sculpt, height, then breast size should be there also. However, nothing ridiculous such as variations of crotch size. Because honestly, we in real life can't even tell each others crotch sizes unless it is far larger than average, or hard.

As unlikely as full body customization will be, it would still be a great addition instead of simple facial editing

a) I don't consider breasts being the main factor for deciding on the other person's gender...would a A/AA cup then be considered male? I usually judge by the other person's face and walk, yet Dragon Age has the problem of very low detailed faces so I take your point.

Yes, I'd also agree with you on the male part yet it's more realistic: Dragon Age takes place in a medieval fantasy world and being overweight was quite uncommon at that time, not to mention that your companions could not be overweight due to constantly travelling around the world, fighting etc. 

Breast size, however, is natural and can hardly be changed at the time where Dragon Age takes place.

Variation betwwen those points would be welcome, however i've been playing Bethesda's games so long that i automatically assume that all men and women look alike from the neck down <_<

Years ago I read an interesting article in a science magazine about breast sizes, according to the scientists' statistics men who prefer large breasts have a significantly lower IQ.
