I'm curious, if 'straight' refers to your sexual orientation then what does 'normal' refer to? Your hand size?
It refers to the second part of the sentence - I do not consider anyone who's into CP / loli normal.
If you go strictly by the word's definition though, it could also refer to the first part.
Define normal.. What is normal to you may be out of the ordinary to another. In any case, I don't think BioWare will ruin it for the modders by giving us options to change boobage or bulbage- or sparkle for that matter- not that I would not like to see variation. It just doesn't seem like something that will affect a story driven game much. For personalized aesthetics, you have modders- if we get a toolset.

nuh-uh, the Casteless are much worse off than the elves if you ask me.
You played the castless origin and the city elf origin- who seemed worse off to you? For me it was the elves. The casteless can join the carta or charm a noble and get elevated. Elves have no option but hope to be sold to a better master.
Vaughn in the city elf origin was overstepping his bounds. What he did was criminal, so against the law. He only would have got away from it if powerful friends protetcted him. That's not much different from our society. I also think the elves in the alienage are better off than the casteless. Even if maybe not much. However city elves don't have nobility while dwarves do. So you could say they are generally poorer.
But the fact that they would do such a thing in itself is an indication to the conditions of the elves. Casteless dwarves are scum to the castes between the nobles and the casteless. They wouldn't have anything to do with them ig they had their way. The nobles find them useful if they can't have a child- but they do not abandon the mother after the child is conceived. They elevate the mother's status to noble.
Elves are poorer and have no options- which keeps them poor.
I blame Cailan and Anora. One reason why my Warden would become king. I mean Cailan goes off riding into a 'glorious battle' against evil while in his own town criminals make the rules. Alistair would probably do better but honestly, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

Actually, in my country, people use normal for anything BUT the ordinary.

that it is not unprecedented for elves to have no rights at all. The
casteless have no rights either but nobody bothers them as much.

In mine too- but since there's nothing that one person can do, everyone accepts it like they accept that the sun rises in the east. That is what I mean by normal. I did not write abnormal as its opposite because I felt it may be too strong a word here.

Size and huge muscles isn't everything, if you watch K1 kickboxing you'll see that the *really* big guys (6'5'' 280lbs+) always get their butts kicked by 6'2'' 225lbs dudes. Fighters that large tend to be slow, heavy and run out of steam quickly, even if they're in great shape and pack a murderous punch.

Well the question is whether there are laws and if they are followed. The casteless are treated like crap but it alright since such are the laws. I don't think for example Cailan had a clue how badly the elves fare. Just look at the conversation you have with Cailan with your elf warden. He talks like he admires/respects them highly. And compare that to how they get treated in denerim. In the dwaven society nobody respects the casteless. Some of them not even themselves. So I guess it depends where you are elf. Denerim pre DA:O was obviously not a good place to be elf. I think in Orlais, Antiva, or other countries elves fare better than Ferelden.

I'm gay myself and do not have the slightest issue with breasts as far as they're implemented in DAO. If they were noticably bigger though, they'd be off-putting. Either way, not something that's a priority for me
Oh - and since we're talking about what's normal and what's not: howabout - both straight and gay are normal? Like having blonde, red, brown, or black hair (Or grey or white for those elders among us)?

To be fair, Cailan was clueless about pretty much everything. I doubt that his heirlessness was because he or Anora was infertile. I think he just didn't know what to do. Aaaanyway, we don't have any examples of elves outside Ferelden besides Leliana's speech to the elven warden about serfs and their riches. So I just don't know.

We should also think of our children. A lot of teens play Dragon Age and what will become of their view on the world if they play games where every woman has "perfect" breasts?!
You can't be serious? Because I heard teenagers do something else too than play video games, and thus see real people. Also I don't think teenagers are so stupid that they could not understand the difference between a video game and real life.

Why? This isn't a joke thread, I am serious about my post / intention...though we might see the usual people turning this into a troll thread anyway.
This thing is very simple. To say we need to change computer games because else "teenagers" or "kids" would think this or that is like to say there should only be certain kind of books, there should be only certain kind of movies, and there should be only certain kind of magazines, which are all ruled by politbyroo. It is like to say everything should be Disney approved because of kids while in the same time imagining that if everything would be Disney approved kids would become Politbyroo approved perfect citizens.
I would had never replied into this thread, but because I have seen how strong that Disney approved media/culture/games in order to shape "perfect" citizens for Politbyroo movement is, actions against it must be taken.

It all depends on your definition of "normal". Go straight with the definition and gay is not normal, go with your own, broader definition and it is. I don't want to offend anyone, seriously, one of my friends actually is gay.
