"Okay Kelly," and the accompanying emote. Good lord. He sounds like an HR manager. No, worse... he sounds like he was just hired by an HR manager.
I just have a lot of problems with MaleShep's lines. He just doesn't emote. At all. Ever. I know it's supposed to be "Generic Action Hero" voice, but seriously... I don't think his voice changes more than an octave throughout the entire game. There's no intimacy in the romance, there's no anger in the betrayals, and his speeches during the suicide mission were given with all the vigor of my BioChem professor talking about the practice exam.
I'd love to see Shepard shed a tear or two in ME3, I'd love to hear him be vulnerable with his LI (like the very brief moment in LotSB talking with Liara - actual emotion!) and get more than "pissy" with TIM after coming out of an obvious trap. Plus, Paragon Shep sounds like such a wuss...
Jacob is pretty bland, but not cringe-worthy. I liked Aria's attitude and her intro line (though, "I am Omega" seemed corny). Every Salarian ever has a stand-up position waiting to be filled. Some of the other voice actors were exceptional.
If only Shepard would ever emote.

Actually, I'm a Maleshep.
I just find the voice acting very detached from the situation. I'm pretty sure if I just came back from the dead to find (as an example) Tali wanting to jump my bones, I'd have a different tone than MaleShep's painfully awkward, "I want it too."Heck, I'll even do it for free BioWare! Maybe there's a way to mod all the lines on the PC version, that might make it worth buying.
