Funny to see many find Aria's line to be cringeworthy. I, in fact, like it. But hey, I like all things Aria.

Agreed. I love Aria, or maybe its my imagining her in the Matrix.

On topic though, worst line for me was...

SERIOUSLY! Man...I just want to talk to you...find out what you've been up too, I mean Zaeed has like 30 stories about his missions...surely you have something to talk about that I would find interesting.

Oh, how I hate that.  Worse, it's one of those fake-outs, where no matter what you pick on the wheel, Shep always says the same damn thing.  Why couldn't it have just been something like "Joker, you get that?" or "We need a ride, Joker. Now."

I don't mean to be rude, but I hope to god you mean New Yorker accent. If you actually mean American, then I just have to say you're ignorant in the least offensive way possible (as in not an insult but a statement of fact).

America has so many different accents its not even funny. We have redneck, new yorker, southern (different than redneck), white, black, Californian, Nevadan, Alaskan, and about one for every one of the 50 states with subdivisions of white and black, ghetto and elitist, in each.

To say he has a yankee accent is such a huge generalization it is beyond hilarious.

Think about it this way, in Great Britain, a small island with a relatively small population as compared to the US, China, or India, you have multiple accents from all over the country. For me to say that Udina has a british accent is a huge generalization.

I have to agree with you there.  I totally cringed the first time I heard it.

It also kinda makes Shep sounds sleazy. It's one of the few places that Jennifer Hale dropped the ball.

Agreed. I just played through that scene and it had real emotional weight to it until up to that point, and that line said like that (and the pan shot of the bed) just kinda killed it.

Wow, I'm really glad I never saw that content. I suspected some of the romance content was crap - I avoided 90% of it in ME2. Saw most of it on Youtube

I think it's the combination of 'tonight' + bed shot that makes it worse than it could have been. Kinda hints as sexytimez, not at being alive because of feeling emotions and loving once again, etc.

While it isn't a line of dialogue, the wheel has the infamous: "I want you, Thane." choice that comes RIGHT AFTER HE GOT DONE TALKING ABOUT HIS DEAD WIFE!  While it isn't what Shepard says if you select it, it still makes you pause and go "Do I really want to pick that?  Do I?"

Tali's line isn't so bad.
Garrus' line I agree is bad.  My canon Shepard would've been less sultry and more soothing (You forgot the interrupt: "Woah~  Consider me seduced, smooth talker.  Now shut up and stop worrying~" *GAG*)
Jacob...I realize his has been done to meme death, but it's really not his fault.  Blame FemShep for hitting on him like a tramp.
Thane...eh?  I never had a problem, it just sounded so cheesy in my opinion.
Miranda's is horrible.  THE ENGINE ROOM IS NOT ROMANTIC!

It's terribad, considering the timing.  Any other point after that conversation it might've worked, but NOT THERE.

the only thing that made me truly go wtf was miranda wanting to bone in the engine room. i was like, WHY? i'm the one who has to lie down on hard metal grating floor, grunt is watching from the cargo hold, tali is stalking me, and daniels and omalley will be taking photos! sex in random places dont quite got that kinkiness if it's planned. we should have just screwed on top of the galaxy map in front of a horrified yet aroused kelly.

Hilariously, when I was seeing what happens if you turn in the evidence at Tali's trial, right after Tali chews you out and is so upset about what's going to happen and believing she won't even make it back alive to see her beloved Migrant Fleet fall apart, here comes the upgrade you and "I'LL TAKE IT!"
