The "neutral" option when trying to let Tali down easy (my Shep was staying faithful to Liara) was anything BUT letting her down easy:



Tali - *Something about danger of weak quarian immune systems*

Shepard - "Don't worry, I don't want to compromise your immune system. As much as I'd like to."



HOLY CRAP that came out wrong! Fortunately, Tali highlights just how wrong that sounded with her freaked-out response.



In the playthrough where I chose that option, I'm just chalking it up to my Shepard trying to crack a joke and completely failing at it.

Any moment where Femshep's dialogue is turned into sleaze. As a female, I beg of Bioware for more dignity and less sexual harrassment.

Entire conversation with Morinth. Any Goth people offended? Show of hands!

Off the top of my head...hmm everything Udina says “I’m sick of all this anti human bull****!!” "He can’t do that, it’s not his decision!”
The hell? This guy is our ambassador? The choice at the end between the good honest solider with noble intentions but little experience in politics and the devious and ambitious politician would carry allot more weight if Undina wasn't full of fail in the first place.

Between this and the Vyrnnus story I’m starting think Kaiden is as 'stable' I had originally thought...

Most of what Liara says in ME2 other than LotSB. Tho this isn’t so much because of the lines themselves but more in the way the VA says it. Also I’m sorry Liara but “I’ll flay you alive...with my mind!” is just not intimidating. Seriously I need to teach you how to threaten people properly.

Not really about the lines but I feel like mentioning it anyway. When the consort says “do this for me and I would be very grateful” and strokes you face. GET YO HAND OFF ME ****! If some random stranger touched me like that in RL I would deck them.

Absolutely everything Harby says. “I know you feel this Shepard” Ah well at least some awesome songs were made from his dialogue

Jacobs lines in his romance scene and everything femshep says to him. “I’m more interested in just talking for a bit” that line alone makes me want to stay the hell away from Jacob. I’m surprised he doesn’t duck for cover every time he sees her.

“Not just a reaper...a human reaper!” is there anyone who didn’t cringe at that line?

“Threat this big all the rules go out the window”

“I won’t sacrifice the soul of my species”

Miranda talking about you to the illusive man. “But Shepard...They’ll follow her. She’s a hero, a bloody icon but she just one woman” I don’t know why this line makes me cringe but it does.

Talking with Benezia. I have heard people go on about what a great, emotional well done scene that was but can’t stand it. The dialogue and VA in that scene was just horrible "I don't see a light, they said there would be-"

^ I'll second Benezia's "No light? They always said there'd be a...aaack." On my first playthrough, she said that and I thought "Well that's just pointlessly cruel, especially since Liara is in my squad at the moment and Benezia just promised her she'd see her on the other side." Personally I don't believe light or a lack of light is any evidence for or against the existence of the afterlife, but I really did not see the point of that line at all. Benezia could've just said "Good night little wing, I'll see you again with the dawn" and dropped off. That would have been dignified.

Yeah, I agree with most of what you said. The human reaper line didn't bother me though and a lot of it bothered me a lot less than you.

I hate anytime somebody asks Shep about dying and he says "I got better." that line is so cringe worthy its not even funny. Gah I hate it.

about consort, hubster recently started playing ME and when he met her, he was all: "wth, get away from me woman!" lol for someone supposedly so good at reading people, she sure wasn't doing all that great there. me, on my renegade femshep went with "that's it? " option and the resulting scene almost made me fall off the chair, laughing. Titatic reference? really? I guess my shep is such a stud, she can even make a professional courtesan lose her cool



lastly, most romance scenes have vocals tones that are not particularly romantic sounding to me, in ME2 at least (although Kaidan's very abrupt joker is waiting for you on the bring was a huh moment), but I have to say paragon interrupt femshep has while with Garrus, takes the cake for me. Here he is, pouring out his heart and soul and he's obviously uncomfortable when it comes to romantic relationships partly because he actually genuinely cares, but he's doing his best and she sounds...annoyed?

harbinger assuming control in casual mode is laughable indeed. i played insanity mode before playing casual mode, and it took forever to kill harbingers, but when i played casual, i had to laugh everytime cuz he died so fast.

poor tali crushing on shepard. if she walked into the engine room and saw shep and miranda getting it on, she'd be devastated. she might do something crazy like throw herself at grunt or mordin or something, lol.

seriously though, I assume clearign the engine room means there's no possibility of them coming in unexpected, or watching from their respective windows?  I'm asuming that Miranda being, well Miranda would have thought of those particular implications

Yeah, I know, it comes up only if you did the dirty deed with Liara in the first game and agreed to continue the relationship, after that line I almost didnt want too

That didn't exactly make me cringe, but I facepalmed, which is almost as bad.
