If she is a secret companion, I am very interested in how she will interact with the other characters, as I imagine a good chunk will have their beef with her. And I am definitely interested in how she will interact with MageHawke/Bethany.

I imagine Fenris and Aveline finding her sympathetic, Varric and Isabela being neutral and the mages not liking her at all. I wonder if her story arc is also partially about making her more sympathetic to the plight of mages under the Chantry and trying to get her to change things from the inside as it were.

She looks tough, like her arms are twice the size of Aveline's.

I'd love to see her and Avaline arm wrestle, or at least get to see her without all that armor and her arms exposed.

Ok i have the solution say a mage is born to a family with an accomplished mage already such as the hawkes then they should be able to live in peace

though should there not be a capable teacher in the family they would be taken to the circle for training and lured into a back alley ans stabbed repeatedly if evil otherwise after the harrowing they should be free to leave and live out their lives in peace

there thats as close as you'll get to a perfect compromise

She's my favourite character in the game along with Bethany, so you can't imagine my dilemma. Either Meredith or Bethany lol I hate the ending though :/ btw could anyone make me an awesome bar which basically says I'm a huge supporter of her and maybe some cool pics of her? thanks

Meredith is certainly one of my favorite characters in DA2. If only you can romance her, even as a mage

They act like they want to strangle each other.

But it's amusing to imagine what might have happened if things were different. What if Perrin Threnhold had never tried to expel the templars and they never ascended to power in Kirkwall? What if Meredith had never come into contact with the lyrium idol? What if the qunari had never come to Kirkwall and killed the current viscount?

Maybe, in another world, a young templar named Meredith learns to put aside her distrust of mages and meets a mage named Orsino who shares a similar distaste for blood magic. Maybe that templar destroyed that mage's phylactery, and they disappeared together, settling somewhere far away from Kirkwall.

It's a nice dream, anyway.
