I just installed Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition, and was wondering if anyone out there had finally developed a "tried and true" method for importing/editing DLC via the toolset, now that BioWare has announced there will be no additional DLC for DAO 1.
I realize this question has been posed several times over the last year or so, with no truly definitive solutions suggested. Just thought I'd ask one more time. Many thanks in advance.
Editing/Importing DLC Via Toolset - Update?

This situation hasn't changed. There's no official Awakening or DLC content patch for the toolset. DLC is encrypted.
Bioware doesn't seem to be working on the toolset any more. There has been speculation that this might (or might not) be reconsidered after DA2 launch.

Thanks for the update, Proleric1. Considering that Mike Laidlaw indicated that there will NOT be a toolset released for DA2 ( BioWare is only "considering" an update for the DAO 1 toolset ), it's starting to seem unlikely that the modding community will ever have access to DAO 1's DLC.
No toolkits for Mass Effects 1 or 2, and now none for DA 2. Could it be that BioWare is abandoning their long-standing tradition of releasing SDK's for their games?

There's no need for a "new" toolset for DA2 as all Bioware did in-house (from what we know) is update the existing one, hence why there is talk of a potential patch for the DA1 toolset.
And as far as the "long tradition" thing goes, that's a complete fallacy - they did it one time previously with NWN. NWN2 doesn't count because that was by Obsidian. None of the other Aurora/Odyssey engine games had a toolset and neither did any of the Infinity engine games. There are no toolsets for any cooked Unreal game by any 3rd party dev, so Mass Effect doesn't really count either way.
