Maybe you're right,one of the Avvar statues in the Wending Wood talks about chasing a Tevinter Magister to the "Keep of a Thousand Vigils" meaning that Vigils Keep existed for thousands of years. But does it also mean that the Tevinter Magister lived there before? They weren't really clear about that, but it would explain the three headed dragon statues.atheelogos wrote...
Its also possible that the Statue was added to the keep much later. We just don't know at this point.Risax wrote...
These statues can also be found in Vigil's Keep, which is about as old as the Avvar Barbarians.
Maybe the group/cult Orsino is part of is much older then I first thought...

According to the 'Friends in High Places' Achievement Orsino is Kirkwall's First Enchanter.

Wonder what they were doing down there, and if doing that quest is going to have somesort of effect on DA2, the leader didn't seem to be the most diplomatic guy.Risax wrote...
@Wulfstrum.
Then maybe he is just trying to start a rebellion in Kirkwall, and he attracted some Blood Mages?
Like I said, you can see the statues of 3-headed Dragons in the Blood Mage hideout in Denerim in

I still wonder though.....
Does Orsino's staff and the 3 headed statues have anything in common?
I do get the feeling that the 3 headed dragon statues stand for...something, must be a cult.
And if it is a cult, then I wonder if it has any effect on the way Kirkwall's Circle is run.

I remember when the robes+staff first appeared, people were asking of Orsino was a possible companion. It will be interesting to learn more about this mage during DA2, and my xbl avatar looks awesome in Orsino's clothes, and the staff twirl motion is nice too.

If Orsino is the leader of the blood mages, and is located in Kirkwall then maybe that is the reason Merrill decides to travel with Hawk.
