I was going to play through ME2 again, but I wanted a few story choices changed from ME1. I booted ME1 up and immediately the game grinded to a halt and then crashed once the loading had finished. I reloaded the game to find all my saved files have been deleted and it looks like I never even played it before... Just the option to start a new game, options and exit.
Please tell me there is some way to recover these files... The mere thought of doing it all again from scratch is just... Headdesk inducing.
EDIT: Yes, I realize this was posted on the 360 forums. My bad.
